But you are right though. GGG did look sick. An uppercut from Canelo would have finished GGG
Haha. If that was Canelo in there he wouldn't have fought that way, he showed no respect to Brook at all since he's welterweight, against a guy like Canelo he'd fight more like how he fought Lemeuix (used jab, fought smart, took his time, etc). Today he just didn't give a fuck.

Maybe this will encourage Canelo to grow a pair and actually fight him.

Max Kellerman tweeted that Roy Jones was sitting behind Brooks corner and at the end of the fourth round Brook told his trainer to stop the fight. His trainer was trying to o pump him up told him to get out there and after he saw Brook taking damage he threw the towel. Of that's the case then I understand why he stopped the fight.

Well, I guess GGG confirmed he wasn't sick and this was a self-admitted shitty performance. GGG needs to go out there and prove himself first and stop being a bum fighter. What a paper champ

Haha what a fag response. How is he to "prove himself" when Canelo, Saunders, Danny Jacobs, Eubank all turned him down? It's the classic battle paradox

It was a even fight going in to round 5. Brook could have rebounded it's a shame it got stopped but smart. Makes Brooks stock not really go down.

Maybe, but he looked really bad in round 5 and apparently broken orbital bone so the likely scenario is he gets stopped that round or just gets more damage to the eye socket.

GGG told everyone all week he was going to make it an ugly fight and street fight and brawl, which he did just that.

Brook loses nothing from this fight except for his "0" which means a lot to a lot of guys but apparently not him.

Brook is weird though. He's forever been trying to fight Amir Khan who wouldn't fight him. Brook never mentioned Golovkin until Canelo vs Khan was announced then days later Brook started talking about he wants Golovkin. I think the entire reason he did this was to one up Khan, which is so weird to me since Khan got flattened. But for what it's worth I think Brook would absolutely destroy Khan (who is so retarded he's now calling out Connor McGregor, fucking dolt, like he's going to fight Khan of all people).

Brook looked really good I was shocked. No question he would destroy Khan. I'm sure the rest of the fighters at 147 aren't gonna be to thrilled to fight Brook, he already schooled Porter. Reminds me of a better version of Danny Garcia. Who knows what's next for GGG, he could pull a Ward not really fight the next 2 or 3 years and nobody would be ready at 160 to fight him. We know Canelo isn't happening let's be real

Ggg is pure entertainment. I feel confident telling people to watch his fights, they're always satisfied.

Brook is a g for what it's worth. But man if a broken orbital doesn't tell you that you probably made a bad career decision...I mean I'd like to say that his corner made a smart move throwing the towel when they did, but they should've never put their guy in with ggg in the first place. I doubt Kell Brook gets in with Spence at all after that loss.

Like 2-0 said, " Brook is wierd"

Ggg might've baited Jacobs or Saunders with that performance, but I doubt it.

That's what I'm hoping. Maybe Jacobs, I have zero confidence in Saunders. I think most these guys understand a fight with Golovkin means you're going to take a lot of punishment no matter what. You see how quickly guys are swelled up and taking damage in all of his fights. It's like round 3 and guys already look like they've gone 12. If guys can make a million against some random guy, like Sergio Mora, what's the rush?

I think Brook should go to 154. He's obviously a naturally bigger dude only problem though is the bigger names are at 147. Just depends on what he wants to do but I think 154 is the weight class he should be in, I mean if he's walking around at 178 pounds 30 days before the fight, that's a lot of weight boil off, might catch up with him.

If I'm Golovkin I try to make fights immediately with Jacobs or Eubank jr. The latter makes sense since he was the original opponent and because now that Golovkin fought in the UK, he'll be considered a big attraction there now, so good money in that fight (Brook made like $3.5 million tonight if not more). Saunders seems unlikely.

Anyone who still disputes or questions the legitimacy of Golovkin's draw to big crowds should watch this fight again. It would look no different in places like Germany, Mexico, Canada, France, or Russia. Fuck, throw in Kazakhstan in there as well. People come out to see him fight; it's just a shame that ducking is part of the sport too.

pretty sure that was caused by a jab as well, if you watch it again, there were mostly jabs thrown to that side in the 2nd round, don't think any hooks even landed.

Golovkin = DANGER / CAUTION / KEEP OUT / HIGH VOLTAGE

GGG vs Saunders in December. watch out Billy Jo

At least he doesn't have "unbiased reporters" and "real boxing fans" saying he's slightly sick as an excuse for why he looks the way he looks
