Friday Night Fights on the 20th seems like a good card too. I'm curious to see how Breidis Prescott looks after knocking amir khan the fuck out. plus of course Gamboa and that Erislandy Lara guy is supposedly another hot Cuban prospect.

I dont know, I keep going back and forth on Darchinyan. I thought he was good until he was exposed by Donaire. No that wasnt a fluke, Donaire straight up beat a game Vic. I thought Mijares was going to dance circles around him but he got schooled. Now Im thinking Arce has the power, but he's been going a little downhill. Just isn't what he used to be. I think Darchinyan gets the W. He's about a 2 -1 one fave, but that was about a month ago. Haven't checked recently. The fight is in Anaheim, but I'll be in San Diego that weekend so I can't make it.

Arce - Darchinyan should be a good slugfest.

I'm gonna be rooting for Arce. I'm tired of Darchinyan crying about his loss to Nonito. He was getting dominated before he got floored, and I'd take Nonito again if a rematch ever happened.

Also, that Valentine's day triple header looks solid. I'm really interested in the Galaxy Warrior - Funeka fight...even though it boggles me that the guy is that tall, and that damn light. lol

gofightlive.tv is showing a card tomorrow night too. They'll be airing the Rafael Concepcion fight at 9PM ET I think. Not the greatest card but free fights on a tuesday is shouldn't be too bad.

boxingtalk.com is reporting Mayorga just pulled out of his fight on the 14th. I really, really hope that isn't true. Also Barrera had a bad cut which is forcing his fight with Amir Khan (next month) to be pushed back a couple weeks).

Tough week for dkp: Barrera and mayorga forced to pull out of high profile fights!
It's been a tough week for Don King Productions as future hall of famer Marco Antonio Barrera was forced to withdraw from his bout with Amir Khan due to a cut he suffered in sparring over the weekend. Now we've received word that former welterweight champion Ricardo Mayorga has pulled out of his HBO bout with Alfredo Angulo due to an "injury" suffered in training camp. No word on any replacements, but stay tuned our front page for all the latest.

I'm pretty sure khan/barrera will be rescheduled for a couple weeks later down the road. Barrera got his head busted open pretty bad in his fight the other day against some bum which was supposed to be a tune up fight or whatever. Caused by a headbutt.

Really disappointing about Mayorga, I wonder what happened. Hopefully they can get a relatively big name to step in. Names off the top of my head that don't have an upcoming fight are Verno Phillips and Sergio Mora. James Kirkland has Joel Julio on 3/7. I dunno who else could step in...
