Dela Hoya smokin bad crack if he comes back. He will get destroyed by pretty much any good 154er. Also I bet u Arce/Donaire is a much better fight than that last wack Donaire fight! Donaire will win by late knockout though but could be in the discussion of fight of the year. Got Em!!

I think arce will pretty much get destroyed. He's just showing up for a paycheck.

It will either be a brutal KO or arce quitting on his stool.

Naw man Arce dont just show up for paychecks. He comes to fight everytime whether he wins or not. Got Em!!

At least Arce is going to bring everything he has to the table.
Fight dirty and be a bully. That's his best bet...
Exactly. They made a big deal about Donaire's last fight but that Jap should up like a little chicken. I hate that shit. Arce will come out fighting until he cant fight no more. Thats all I am saying. I think Arce would beat that Jap dude also. Got Em!!

I don't know, was it arces last fight or the fight before he lightweight quit? he has the heart of a lion just saying after a few rounds he's going to realize how out matched he is I can see him quitting.

anyways, I don't think he beats nishioka either. nishioka later an egg against donaire I agree but he was so concerned of avoiding donaires left it didn't allow him to be offensive plus allowed him to be tagged by the right. styles make fights after all.

Donaire should be the fighter of the year he won two titles and became the lineal champ. Arce is going to get hurt in this fight. Donaire better fight Rig or the Mares vs Moreno winner in 2013.

ODLH is not coming back, he was just on twitter coked out talking crazy like normal. lol

Marquez in Line For Lucrative Shot if He Loses To Pacquiao

By Miguel Rivera

Win or lose, Juan Manuel Marquez will have another title opportunity waiting for him. On December 8th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Marquez will move up to the welterweight division to challenge Manny Pacquiao for a fourth time. Last week, the WBO vacated Marquez's junior welterweight title and ordered Brandon Rios and Ruslan Provodnikov to fight for the vacant belt.

According to World Boxing Organization President Francisco "Paco" Valcarcel, Marquez will retain the priveledges of a WBO "super champion" and he does have the option - regardless of the Pacquiao outcome - to receive a direct shot at the WBO 140-pound title - and the WBO has already set down an 80-20 split in favor of Marquez, if he decides to reclaim his old belt.

"Right now he has the fight against Pacquiao and if he wins, then he will fight the best there is at welterweight. It could be [Timothy] Bradley or even a fifth fight against Pacquiao. So the title will remain inactive. The title has not defended since he won it against Fedchenko [in April]. Therefore, the determination was to vacate the title," Paco said.

"We've been in conversations with handlers of Juan Manuel Marquez, with his promoter Fernando Beltran, and the people who represent them, and we recognize that Marquez is an elite fighter. We must remember that Marquez is a [WBO] "super champion" and if he wants to fight the junior welterweight champion, we would name him as mandatory challenger. The purse bid would be 80 to 20 in favor of Juan Manuel because of the [high number] of purses that he earned [in his career]. So there is no financial harm [to Marquez] and [at the same time] we would have an active title."

Brandon Rios vs Marquez now that sounds good to me.

WBA: Andre Ward Will Have to Face Kessler-Magee Winner

By Miguel Rivera

According to the World Boxing Association, the WBA's "super champion" at super middleweight, Andre Ward (26-0, 14KOs) will have to face the winner of the upcoming fight between Brian Magee (36-4-1, 25KOs) and Mikkel Kessler (45-2, 34KOs).

Magee and Kessler will fight on December 8th in Denmark for the "regular" WBA championship. Following the conclusion of that fight, the WBA will give Ward six months to face the winner.

Ward, who may return on January 26th against Kelly Pavlik, already holds an eleven round technical decision over Kessler from their 2009 fight in the first stage of the Super Six tournament.

Kessler will get beat up again.

I'm reading Rigondeaux vs Poonsawat will be on the undercard!

Man, I'm hella pumped for Poonsawat to make his american debut. He's a very good Thai fighter. I know he lost to Ryol Li Lee a couple years ago in a close, one but that's basically it. He's #2 at 122 right now. Would be a very big win for Rigondeaux if he can pull it off. And obviously with it being on the undercard, the winner sets up a donaire fight perfectly.

Poonsawat Kratingdaenggym
48-2

Golovkin back in action on 1/19 on HBO
Boxing article posted on October 31st, 2012 | Post Comment

gennady golovkin By Dan Ambrose: WBA Super World middleweight champion Daniel Geale has reportedly been stripped of his title by the World Boxing Association for not fighting Gennady Golovkin, according to Steve Kim on his twitter. Golovkin, 30, is expected back in the ring on January 19th on HBO, says Kim. There’s still no opponent picked out for him, however, and it’s not looking good in terms of Golovkin fighting a well known fighter that boxing fans care about.

If Golovkin can’t get a well known opponent like Peter Quillin, Sergio Martinez or Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. to fight him we might have to settle for seeing Golovkin fight one of the contenders the WBA has ranked. I’d be happy to see Golovkin fight someone like Hassan N’Dam N’Jikam or Dimitry Pirog if none of the big names want to fight him.

Here are the options for Golovkin:

Andy Lee
Marco Antonio Rubio
David Lemieux
Martin Murray
Matthew Macklin
Felix Sturm
Sebastian Zbik

Lee or Macklin would be ideal, because both guys come to fight and would be looking to slug it out with Golovkin. Sturm is probably an impossibility because he’ll likely be positioned to go after Geale or Quillin, because both of those guys are a little easier options than Golovkin

Golovkin is trying to make a name for himself in the United States after having spent the first five years of his pro career fighting out of Germany. Golovkin could have stayed fighting over in Germany and had it pretty easy with some match-making for most of his career, but he wanted to fight the best fighters in the sport and make a name for himself worldwide and not just in Germany. It’s too bad he wasted the five years in Germany because Golovkin would be a lot better known in the U.S by now had he spent those years fighting there.

De La Hoya: Mayweather won’t fight Pacquiao with Arum involved
Boxing article posted on October 31st, 2012 | Post Comment

Pacquiao Mayweather Pacquiao vs. Mayweather Bob Arum manny pacquiao floyd mayweather jr By Chris Williams: Oscar De La Hoya of Golden Boy Promotions says that Floyd Mayweather Jr. will not fight Manny Pacquiao if Bob Arum of Top Rank has any involvement with the fight. It’s not coming from De La Hoya, but rather from what what told to him by Mayweather.

Speaking with esnewsreport.com, De La Hoya said “This is coming from Mayweather. If Bob Arum is involved with Manny Pacquiao, then Mayweather doesn’t want to fight him. That’s the bottom line.”

Well that explains the reason failed negotiations earlier this year, if you want to call them negotiations.
If Mayweather is waiting for Arum to pass away or Pacquiao’s contract to expire, that’s something one could understand. However, Pacquiao recently re-signed with Arum and it’s going to take him to 2014.

Given that Pacquiao is looking slow and no longer what he once was now, I can’t imagine Pacquiao having anything left by the end of his contract with Top Rank. If he keeps fighting and looks worse with each fight, Pacquiao will likely get beaten a number of times before his contract expires. And it might not be worth waiting on Pacquiao to be no longer with Arum and/or Top Rank, because Mayweather doesn’t have that much time left in his contract either.

Pacquiao looks like he’s almost on his last legs, and Mayweather should be looking to make that fight while he’s still relevant. Another couple of losses and there won’t be any point in Mayweather bothering to fight Pacquiao because no one will care. It’ll be like Mayweather fighting a shot Shane Mosley. That fight would have been great when Mosley was at the top of his game but by the time that Mayweather fought him it was no longer interesting.

Mayweather needs to fight Pacquiao now and put him out of his misery before someone else does.
