Khan's people were ones negotiating with Golden Boy, but they brought info back to Al. Where are people saying Al doesn't do his job now?

Said Tim Smith, Vice President of Communications for Haymon Boxing: “Al was involved in the process all the way through with Khan’s people."

So Amir Khan is allowed to fight on HBO PPV but A @Adon isSuperman isn't? L. O. L. Looks like Amir has bigger balls than Adonis.

Interesting point about Khan fighting on HBO without any problems but Stevenson isn't the case. Now I will say Khans situation with Haymon seems a little unique in the sense that he doesn't seem to be billed as a PBC fighter like other guys are. Obviously I have no inside knowledge whatsoever but it seems to me this deal was more Khan/his father and Golden Boy then it was Al Haymon. I mean Oscar was talking about this fight a few months ago (and everyone laughed at him calling him drunk lol) but who knows. Regardless of how much Haymon was involved it certainly does seem to imply Haymon fighters CAN fight on HBO should they want to.

the media was assasinating Floyd for potentially fighting Khan. The same better happen with Canelo
I thought Mayweather/Khan would've been a good matchup. There's a clear difference between Floyd fighting Khan who was at least ranked at the weight they would've fought at over this nonsense which is Khan getting a shot at the lineal championship having never even fought at 154lbs, much less MW and doesn't even hold a title @ 147 currently.

This is just embarrassing. Hopefully they stack that undercard.

If the WBC has any decency left they wouldn't allow this to be for the belt. I remember Garcia taking a ton of heat for selecting Rod Salka so much so the WBC eventually said it was a non title match. I mean Khan was getting rocked by Chris Algieri the last time we saw him in the ring for crying out loud.

Now Amir Khan could potentially be the middleweight champ?

Stop Fucking around, vacate, and just give GGG the damn belt so he can move on and possibly move up to 168.
Yep. And I know I've said this so many times but this was exactly why I was so hellbent on Sergio Martinez beating Cotto as I knew it would lead to this (a bunch of welterweights fighting for the lineal belt). This is the same belt Bernard Hopkins, Marvin Hagler, Jake LaMotta had and now....Amir Khan could potentially win it? smdh (not that I think Khan has much of a chance it's just the simple fact he's fighting for it in the first place).

They won't. Way more money in this and they could always play the card of Khan being a class fighter, something Salka never was. They'll sanction this with a smile.

And because Canelo and Saunders both wouldn't fight Golovkin next GGG has to fight his IBF mandatory in Dominic Wade (or get stripped), which is a waste of time and weak mandatory. Johnson was #1 but he got hurt so next man up is Wade. Interesting to note Wade is with Haymon, so that's two Haymon fighters in one day being announced in HBO fights. Apparently Khan had to sign a one fight deal with Golden Boy too, really strange stuff going on. Anyways, hopefully this opens up the door for other fights.

But the truth is, Canelo was dehydrated for Floyd's fight. Someone like Canelo losing 1 lb can make a difference on how their stamina and strength come fight night. No matter how much they weigh come fight night. Conditioning is no joke. In this case, Canelo will be able to walk through Khan's punches and will finish him early.
