Well the type that choose that kind of life aren't likely to be suckers working a shitty job and getting punked in their own hoods, right? so when your only two options are to bang or to do what i just said, then it seems pretty forced to me...
if you don't have the means to live somewhere else with less of that and you go to a school where people go and smoke trees in class unpunished and bring guns to school because it's so ghetto and the teacehrs don't give a fuck no more, you really have no choice. that's why i dropped out and go to city college. i was getting f's in high school but now i get a's and b's at city and it's nothin. lucky i got the means to get myself on the right track but many don't.
