^^^^i would go and get one but im a go get a ps3 cause the blu-ray the free online play and better graphics and none of that 3 rings of death bullshit
3 red rings is pretty much over, blu-ray is coo if you got a 1080p tv thats over 42+ inchs. graphics are nearly identical with many believing that each is superiour. some believe the 360 is better others think its the ps3. then that sucks bout the ps3 is installing games on your system first to play them.

yeah what hella numb said is true.. ps3 and xbox360 have identical graphics.. the 360 actually may have an edge on the ps3. No matter how hard you squint you wont notice a difference until you have atleast 50+ inches to look at, aside from that you also only get full 1080 from blu ray movies, regular games i believe are 480p or 720p i read somewhere its between those 2 so like 640p or 680p.

my xbox was manufactured on 3-20-08 so I think my box will more then likely not mess up from all the things i've been reading up on it about on the net.

i have ps3 on a 720p 52 inch tv and you can tell a difference.. its nothing shocking i guess... the sound it a lot better though.... people that say ps3 hasnt made any good games what does 360 have besides halo and gears of war? i would rather have metal gear solid and resistance. most games come out on both systems

thats why i said over 50 inches.. or bigger screens since you have higher resolutions to work with.

Why does this make a difference?
blu-ray is full hd and again, higher resolutions on bigger screens.

Stand alone Blu-Ray player = $899

PS3 with built IN Blu-Ray player = $499

I dont know about anyone else, but i love watching blu-ray discs...shit is amazing. And on top of that, i can alos play games on it? Plus.

blu-ray players are averagin around $400, with some price declines coming up for the holidays and probably newer models.

becuase only so many pixels can fit on a screen and are viewable by the naked eye. if you can watch a 40 inch tv and it can only display like a million pixels but the game can display more. then you would have to get a bigger tv with more pixels in the actual screen to be able to see the difference.

its basically like a model car, it looks good from far but the closer you get (aka bigger the tv) the more detail you could see.
