Damn that was really dope.

It seems these ~2:30 minute rap songs are getting more and more popular. Rap for the ADHD/ADD generations I guess lol. I mean I know shorter rap songs have always been done here and there but who really started making that shit popular the last year or so? Vince Staples is the first to come to my mind.

idk about that, vince isnt THAT popular, let alone that influential. i think its just been heading in that direction for a while now & with more rappers who listen to diverse genres/used to make differet genres of music they're more prone to making songs that accomplish what they need to without the traditional structure

like you said its the ADD generation

Vince is that popular and known with most the artists making songs that length though. It's not like it's a big mainstream thing happening too or something.

I do agree with the rest of what you said though.

This was an interesting listen. I really liked the experimentation on a lot of songs but I really have to give it a good jam session one of these days when I have the time. Froskees was doing his thing on the production tip, same with Cities Aviv. I liked most of the experimental production too, shit was weird, but I like that. I really enjoyed it on my initial spin which I was kind of doing other stuff while listening to it as well though.

Yeah Slorp's stuff was good too. Froskees and Aviv's just stood out to me the most on initial listens.
