Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations

One of my favorite shows on TV these days. The show is always beautifully shot, almost always very interesting and Bourdain is a great host. His narration throughout the show is great as well.

when he comes to portland he goes to apizza scholls and that shit is hands down one of the best pizza places in the usa. and I've fucked wit it many a time, if you ever in portland hit that up.....

I'd been there years before his show came to town too.

Regardless, great show though.

He has several books, but I assume you mean Kitchen Confidential. It is good. Very easy read, fun, and if you like Bourdain to begin with you pretty much should read it.

I've loved this season. The show they did in Chile this year is probably one of my favorite from the whole series so far.

Episodes are less and less about food and include more and more corny scripted lame little jaunts.

I liked it when it was a food show about traveling to “exotic” locations. Not so much when it became a show about traveling to “exotic” locations where the host occasionally will sample some local food.



But the Azores and Uruguay episodes did make me want to move to those places.

I still find it very entertaining regardless. Then again I'm not as into cooking as you are so I can see where you are coming from with thinking it's on the decline.
