Yea Favre is so old that he sucks right. Wait he had a better year then Alex Smith, and the Packers beat the niners at home.
Wow so that means he's gonna get better as he gets older. Give me a break.

As for a better year than Alex Smith.. Let's see..

He attempted close to 200 more passes than Alex, while only completing 86 more. He threw for close to a thousand yards more and 2 more TDs than Alex, but he also threw 2 more INTs and ended the season with a 72.7 passer rating, while Alex finished with a 74.8 passer rating. The only reason Brett Favre has slightly higher stat counts is because he passes more. The Niners relied on Frank Gore more than Alex Smith, and that's why his stats aren't as good or better than Favre's. By no means did Alex have a great year, but Favre's wasn't much better (if you can even consider it to be better). After 04 he's gotten worse, and as he gets older he will only get even worse.

As for your comment on the Packers beating the Niners at home.. Yeah, that was a joke. The Niners didn't show up at all. That's their fault and it was a game they should have won. But that's not the case.. So, you continue thinking your team is not on the decline because they beat the Niners at home last season.

So, like I said, the Packers are on the decline.
