Im just gonna say this for the fact of the matter. Im not a gangsta rapper but I used to bump and still do..CMW, ABOVE THE LAW, SHORT, MAC DRE, KING TEE, MITCHY (now) I could go on for days. I was raised in baltimore md until 11 and moved to oceanside in 86. Been rhyming since I was 8 and im 33 now. The point im making is that SD already denies hip hop music in general. If we can't pull this off on some positive shit and leave the beef at the door, the venues and media will just close us out even more. Im from north county which is far from the heart of San Diego but ive been through it all over my years and I can see what needs to be done to take shit further on a global level.
