I'm not saying it will happen, but it could happen. Teams lose players and sometimes fall off out of nowhere. It's not impossible for that to happen to any team in the NFL. Look how badly the raiders fell off since they went to the Bowl.
And I know the raiders will start winning games at some point.. Every team has to. But that doesn't mean it will be anytime soon. The defense looked nice this year but it was exposed just enough to allow them to lose the game. The offense was horrendous and I don't expect a major turn-around while Al Davis is still alive.
Point being, the AFC West will not always dominate the NFL. Look what happened to the Niners and Rams.. They fell quickly and so did the NFC West. It can happen in the AFC as well.
