Any one know how to fix access violation 00000000 it comes up when i try to start up my cubase program

Try to start the program and when you get the error, check your computer log I don't know on the top of my head how to get there and I am not logged into windows right now. I can post a way tomorrow if you can't find it.

If you do find it check the errors. The reason of the error 0000000 should be in there.

What version of cubase are you using? Check to see if you have any incompatible VST instruments or effects that are trying to load. If you are using Cubase 4, you will get an error if you are trying to load older VST plugins. 4 uses VST4. You will have to assign the directory to search for your older cubase plugins. Does it happen when you start the program? Or does it start when you try to create a new project or open an existing .cpr file? Also check to see if the project directory is writeable or have the proper permissions set for your user name Or, re-install software.

i think my computer has been taking a shit on me...its been running slow...i ran avast.done hijack....and run adware and no viruies or nonthin has been found...i use to be able to convert a dvd in 45 mins now it takes 2 hour....what could be the problem

Try updating your driver, same thing happened to me and did an update and everything is gravy

im puttin in a toshiba laptop hard drive in to a hp laptop...

laptop brand doesnt matter. if it uses the same connector (most likely does) it works.

yo, im tryin to clean up all my cds (cd names, artist, ect) i know u can select the cd and go to properties and do it in the details section. All my cds are on my ext. hard drive and it wont let me edit any of the details. But when i have an mp3 saved to my laptop hd i can do this. anyone know how i can fix this???????

It cleans up your drive what MobbinINda916 said. It's not dangerous for you're computer and you should do this every once in a while. After you did disc clean up you should defrag your disc.
This you should also do at least every month it makes your disc run smoother.

Do you get an error when you try to add files (any files) to your ext. harddrive?

What are the best antivirus programs? I always hear about shit like AVG, Avast, and Nod32. As long as it has realtime protection and doesn't lag the fuck outta it.

im working on a computer, i know for a fact has viruses and all the shit. the computer turns on by it self and as soon as its plugged in. i tryed to put avast on the computer in safe mode and it would fail to load. so i tryed malwearbytes and it wont even open. the computer also wont recgonize cds and doesnt even list the cd/dvd drives as being connected to the computer. so what can i do for the spyware since the programs wont even open? what do i do about the cd/dvd since its not even detected?
