Barca is definitely NOT going down, but most Chelsea fans ARE delusional.....

First it was, well both teams can score goals and Chelsea has a better defense. (then you gave up 7 goals in two games) and didnt score against Everton

You guys are in troubleeeeeeee

and Man U already sewed up the treble. I'm not an Premier League so don't call me a bandwagoner.

Giggs, Like ‘A Good Wine,’ Wins English Soccer Award at Age 35

By Dan Baynes

April 27 (Bloomberg) -- Ryan Giggs was voted English soccer’s player of the year by his peers for the first time in an 18-year career that yielded a record haul of team prizes.

The 35-year-old midfielder beat Manchester United teammates Nemanja Vidic, Rio Ferdinand, Cristiano Ronaldo and Edwin van der Sar as well as Liverpool’s Steven Gerrard to claim the Professional Footballers’ Association award. Aston Villa forward Ashley Young, 23, took the young player accolade.

Giggs, who has twice been named the PFA’s young player of the year, adds the senior award to his collection of 22 major team honors that includes a record 10 Premier League titles and two European Cups. United is in contention to win both those trophies again this season.

I'll add my 2 cents about US soccer (I'm Aussie btw if you didn't know)

The thing is, you guys are in a good and bad situation. Good being, you have a league established and a massive population. 300 million?

The bad thing is NBA, NFL ect are going to take most of those people interseted in sport.

So the soloution is to do what? Youth academys? More promotion?

What is the soloution?

the solution is the generic american football baseball population accept this sport, instead of some bullshit sissy sport, which its NOT...

coming from a soccer fan myself i find this pretty retarded....the love for nascar and hate for soccer has nothing to do with "fatness" it has to do with the way that soccer is played...

theres a reason why nfl is our national past time...the action...

a game thats played at the midfield and ends up 1-0 isnt a game for americans.....atleast with baseball when the score is so low its still "exciting" to see the pitchers doing so well...

there is hardly no hope for american soccer.....one of the oldest sports ever and it still hasnt caught on....sorry, deal with it....and move on....
