A lot of producers make beats differently, some are fast and others are not.I think a blind beat battle is great and I'm all for it and I hope a lot of ppl participate once it gets off the ground.

i think a live beat battle would be dope. i would be down but i think that it should be tournament style and should also be really random sounds/ samples so that people would have to make it on the fly as oppossed to some canned shit.

this way the weak get weeded out along the way and everyone has to create something new.

I have a feeling this will be a battle of TRAP BEATS. Snare and high hat rolls, big bass, some lex luger type sounds, 65-78 BPM range etc etc. lol

I think live is more interesting, adds that live battle dynamic.

I'm down, I would just screen record my ableton session. Yes name rec sways votes BUT thats no difference then the battle leagues.

The beat battle tournament we had before was cool. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. The live battle idea is cool, but if it were to become a reality, it would suck. The only way it would be somewhat decent, is if the two battlers were using the same machine/software.

live video would only work if theres no time limit, not every producer has the same process or speed they make a beat in, should just do brackets & uploads, making it live is unnecessary and if I remember correctly only that jabroni e-low insisted on making it live last time
