I REMEMBER IN AN INTERVIEW WITH MURDER DOG. RO SAID THAT HE DIDNT HAVE MUCH INPUT INTO "TLOJW.M" BECAUSE HE WAS LOCKED. SO HE DIDNT LIKE THAT ALBUM TOO MUCH. BUT HE HAD A LOT OF INPUT IN "LTTBT", WHICH IMO WAS ONE OF HIS LESSER ALBUMS. NOW HE HAS NO IMPUT ON THIS ALBUM BECAUSE HE WAS LOCKED AGAIN. IMO, THE LATTER PART OF THE ALBUMS THATS BEEN RELEASED UNDER HIS NAME, ARE BETTER WITH LITTLE INPUT FROM HIM BECAUSE I WAS REAL DISAPPOINTED WITH "LTTBT", STILL A GOOD ALBUM, BUT FAR FROM WHAT I EXPECETED, BUT THIS ALBUM HAS EXCEEDED MY EXPECTATIONS.

THE THING IS WITH 'LET THE TRUTH BE TOLD' IT WAS A GOOD ALBUM LYRICIALLY, OBVIOUSLY, BUT THE SHIT WASNT THE TYPICAL Z-RO SHIT I AM ACCUSTOMED TO, THE PRODUCTION ON HERE IS ON SOME R@B SHIT FOR 90% OF THE ALBUM, I LIKE RO'S SINGIN N SHIT, BUT IMO SOME OF THEM R@B TRAX ON HERE SHOULDA BEEN CUT OFF, AND IMO THE VIBE THE ALBUM HAD DIDNT REALLY COMPLIMENT RO'S VOICE THAT MUCH...........

BUT LIFE OF JOSEPH MCVEY WAS A MUCH, MUCH BETTER ALBUM, CUZ OF THE BEATS AND LYRICS ON THAT SHIT, THE LYRICS ON THAT SHIT WERE GOOD, AND HE HAD THE RIGHT PRODUCTION FOR THAT ALBUM, MAKING IT A 5/5 EFFORT FROM EM.....

LET THE TRUTH BE TOLD WAS LIKE 3.5/5 BECAUSE OF THE DIRECTION THE ALBUM WENT

NOW WE GOT 'IM STILL LIVIN' WHICH IS A 4/5 FOR ME, BETTER PRODUCTION THAN THE LAST ALBUM THO....

damn, I would hate to be a rapper for so many critics like yall. I give props to him for trying something different and if it wasn't him overseeing this, then no harm no foul.

I picked up this album based solely on his work of previous albums. LTTBT was and is still a fucking classic hands down. Better than J mcvey in so many ways while J mcvey topped LTTBT in other ways as well.

Any album that is not the same as others is not exactly a bad thing. Its just different. If you don't like it because you hate the production, the lyrics, the quality....cool, if you don't like it because it doesn't sound like other ro albums then go listen to the other ro albums.

Not bad, some very good tracks. And like someone already said, this seems to be an album which needs to grow on u.

Battlefield, Man Cry, Let The Truth Be Told and No More Pain are my current favs on this one..

This album was slightly disappointing to me.. And Z-Ro's my favorite rapper.
There were song bangers, no doubt.. but overall, it seemed rushed. And it was, I'm sure. Rap-a-Lot sucks. I want a Z-Ro album that he has full artistic freedom and has a say in the beats, what gets put on the actual cd, etc.

Plus, I been bumpin that new Tech which shits on Ro's album. I cant believe this Tech album, man.. Definitely the best album of the year.
Overall, I give I'm Still Livin a 7/10

Here's my song by song rating

1. City Streets - 8/10
2. Continue to Roll - 10/10 (fav cut)
3. THUG - 9/10
4. One Deep - 10/10
5. M-16 - 9.5/10
6. Remember Me - 7/10
7. Keep On - 6/10
8. Whats Going On - 5.5/10 (wtf is up with this beat?)
9. Let the Truth be Told - 9/10
10. Man Cry - 7.5/10
11. No More Pain - 8/10
12. Still Livin - 5/10
13. Homie Lover Friend - 7.5/10
14. Love Aint Live - 8.5/10
15. Battlefield - 8/10

Man Still Livin' isn't a classic like the rest of his cd my personal favorite is Look What You Did To Me, but it's much better than any album that came out this year. You have to understand that Ro didin't make any beats for this cd Mike Dean made them all and that's the reason you guy are putting down on the beats but forget that the words that he says makes up for it. Me and my homeboy just came back home from visting Ro and we heard some of his new songs that will be on the "Power" cd that will be comming out soon. And man once you hear those songs your gonna burst out in tears (well you know what I mean) The songs on the cd are gonna be the best you ever heard.

How did you see him I thought that he was still locked up?
No he's not locked up anymore bro he was released from prison before his cd came out. Don't listen to the media, I think you are confused a little he had to promote while he was locked up but he is free. Man Ro has money and he has people with money so when you put those two together you can make things happen enough said. Check out this link.
