Yeah its better than his last 2 joints which really aint sayin much.

This shit is crap 2...not 1 song is a certified slapper.

I expect more than this 4 1 a the coasts prodominate artists...ALOT MORE.

Yukmouth deserve 2 get his chain snatched up 4 being the wests biggest dissapointment 4 over half a fucking decade.

He shouldnt have 2 ride the DJ Fresh coatails 2 finally drop sumthin worth spending money on,he suppose 2 be better than that.

im not really feelin it..maybe its gona grow on me
Most YUK albums do grow after a few listens. I know I'm swooping it on Tuesday. I never dl cds but YUK has only one weak cd-MDMP. WESTCOAST DON is actually a good cd. It has several slappers and YUK is always on point lyrically. The rap game is so oversaturated that we're looking for a savior but them days are gone.

Folks who think DRAKE'S cd will be it can forget it cause he's overplayed on the radio and rap collabs aren't the sh*t like they used to be cause of all them mixtapes.

The problem with old rappers that was raw back in the day is that they want to be relevant so bad that they make music they know is inferior to they previous works but they want the young fanbase so bad that they'll say fuck they old fans to acquire new ones but they lose when they shit flop and both the young and the older consumers refuse to buy it. Right now yuk seems to be stuck creatively. He dont know if he wants to rap like a southern nigga or a west coast nigga. He probably think that if he rap like he did on Thugged out that it would go over the younger generation's head because all they give a fuck about is materialism and dancing. I wish more niccas would drop albums like Wale's.

I listened to the album once through and i liked it a lot. stop living in 95, yuk is richer and he's gone through way more shit than he has before. Yuk always comes through with the fly boss raps. If you dont like it, you downloaded it anyway, get over it.
I think these cats are listening to the album on their laptop speakers. I just downloaded this shit and slapped it in my headphones twice through....the album is straight fire. There was 1 track somewhere in the middle that was a little underwhelming, I dont know which one, but everything else is riding hard.....Gonna order this shit right now. Thanks Yuk........

btw, I havent heard any of yukmouths albums since Godzilla.....

Yall niggas on some other shit to me.

Free At Last
The Life
Laughin At U Clownz
2-11
Smell It On Me
Let's Get It Let's Go
100 Brick Boy
Shine
Dats Outta Here

These are the cuts....Solid beats, memorable hooks and Yuk comes off with a couple good lines on here. I like how the album started off with the "Free At Last" track where he's talking about all his label situations and finally speaking on Rap-A-Lot..And how that sample in the beginning tied in with the concept of the lyrics.

Seriously, West Coast Don wasn't even all that to me..Not much I really remember off that album off the top.

I don't think it was as bad as some people made it sound. One thing Yukmouth fails to do each time is get his projects mixed & mastered. It really makes a big difference in quality and the overall feel. I've skipped a couple songs so far but isn't too bad.

The songs didn't hit me as if they were mixed and mastered. I don't know, I'm no expert but it just doesn't have that sound to me. Maybe it's also on some tracks his mic sounds blown. I'll give it another shot.

Free at Last has some tight songs. I havent picked up the album yet but I heard it. It still sounds like a mixtape/compilation to me though.
