yea i'll die....and so will you. we all do. you sure took a long time to post that up! i know about being up at 4am, about threatening to be fired, about walking in to work and having the entire staff blown out due to downsizing, about lugging equipment from remote to remote, about doing promotions, research, on air, van driving and production, about working 17 hour days, about the possibility that my show will cease to exist due to computer technology and voice tracking, about smashing hard on the streets for my station.....i put in work. radio is not and will never be a cake walk. no, it's not wherehouse work, and if you don't like wherehouse work, try to get another job. after all, you are a white guy. i'm sure you can find something. go to school.

ok well that sucks. i'm poor too. i have a job that pays my bills because i go without the luxurys of a nice car, new clothes, getting my nails done, eating out, going to movies or clubs (unless they pay me). i support myself 100% and it costs money on a bullshit radio salary. i'd get paid more doing pretty much any other profession with my degree but i ride or die for radio because i love it.

ok then he should look into something that makes him happy.....and do the same amount of work for something he loves rather than something he hates. that's what i did. it's all about sacrifice. i'm sure at a wherehouse job he gets paid more than i do. those jobs are dangerous but they usually pay well.

petty issues like that when ppl starve and work in misery their entire life with no way out - there is no way out for me because if i go to jail, or homeless, or just take your little white/dancing minstrel show alternative and get a college degree then my mom loses her house and she dies on the street because she will refuse to live in an apartment
