This year was such a great year for music. So many amazing bands put out so many great albums.

I'm going to do a top twenty even though there is going to be twenty four albums listed (fuck you cant decide on number one) and leave out honorable mentions because I'd be here all fucking night with that. My list has changed a lot.

#1. Pygmylush - Bitter River / Battles - Mirrored / BTBAM - Colors / Teeth of Mammals - Self Titled (fuck you, I cant decide and I gave up trying to awhile back)
#2. Jesu - Conqueror
#3. Panda Bear - Person Pitch
#4. God Is an Astronaut - Far From Refuge
#5. Kidcrash - Jokes
#6. Circa Survive - On Letting Go
#7. Minus the Bear - Planet of Ice
#8. Post Harbor - Praenumbra
#9. Pig Destroyer - Phantom Limb
#10. Meneguar - Strangers In Our House
#11. Tulsa Drone - Songs For A Mean Season
#12. Hopesfall - Magentic North
#13. Rwake - Voices of Omens
#14. Psyopus - Our Puzzling Encounters Considered
#15. Destroyer Destroyer - Littered With Broken Arrows
#16. Comadre / Trainwreck - Split
#17. Someplace To Hide / Damezumari / Steeples - Three Way Split
#18. Interpol - Our Love To Admire
#19. The Fall of Troy - Manipulator

There you have it folks, those are the top twenty(four) albums that came out this year IMO.

Can't wait to see what's in store for 2008.

Ummm give me a few to think on that. Would you want like recent bands, older bands, don't matter? What kind of rock (or music other then rap) do you like so that I can get a good basis to make recommendations from. I listen to a pretty broad range of music, don't want to throw something totally left field at you.
