I clearly remember the day it came out. I was out til like 11pm with my homeboy (only a big deal cause I was 11 years old and I lived in the HOOD in Watsonville so being out on the streets that late was a bad idea) and I saw my mom and her boyfriend walking home with popcorn and they said, oh if you woulda came home sooner you coulda went with us to watch it. Everyone I know since then including them talked about how solid that movie was.
I had looked up a list of the top 100 dude movies and Boy Scout was like top 5 on 3 lists.

I saw that shit the day it dropped 2 and I was 9 or 10 yrs old. It felt 2 me like if Al Bundy was like a private eye in another life, or maybe it was the 3rd Lethal Weapon the way Shane Black wanted 2 do it... lol
