He got what he deserved (being suspended). He was the one that was talking shit and running his mouth BEFORE the game. Hout returned the favor. So Blount can dish it but can't take it? That makes HIM a faggot, as phil likes to put it.

that boise state faggot got what he deserved.

its sad because if this happens in a hockey game the dude goes to the penalty box for 2 minutes. not have his career ruined.

funny how things work huh

Realistically, Blount should have got a 2 game suspension for punching dude and 2 games for what he did afterward.

He was definitely provoked and dude from Idaho should have a 2 game suspension as well.

Hout talked shit and got what he deserved.

Also. that was in no way a "sucker punch"

And even if it was, who gives a fuck. If someone is talking shit to me like that I will purposely wait until they turn their back on me to punch them. Shit, wait until they go home and go to sleep and then suplex them while their sleeping. Fuck rules in a fight, the only purpose is to inflict the most damage and not get caught.

If you touch another man at any point in time for any reason, expect to get hit. You can talk all the shit you want but you cross the line when you touch another man.

I dont know about Idaho and the Northwest but in the rest of the world, talking shit + touching that person = punches thrown.

How can there be a sucker punch when the person sees the punch, turns his head and starts to close his eyes. What did he think was coming a gatorade bath or something? You can see the look in the punks eyes when he gets up, "like I shouldnt have ran my mouth like that." Only a punk talks shit to someone and then trys to walk away like nothing will happen to him.

Blount kept it at words but this punk Hout crossed the line and made it into something else. If Blount wouldve just hit him and then went to the locker, it mightve been a different story but all the shit afterwards made the suspension longer.

Nope, e got what he deserved. Esepcially since he has a history of being a hot head and has incidents in practice.

He was definitely provoked and dude from Idaho should have a 2 game suspension as well.
And? If some dude gets arrested for shooting someone, you think the judge is going to hear his plea of "well, he said 'fuck you' to me, so I shot him!"

And it was Boise St., not Idaho.

Hout talked shit and got what he deserved.
And Blount talked shit BEFORE the game...his quote was IN THE NEWSPAPER FOR EVERYONE TO SEE!!!! So did Blount deserved to get hit, even though he didnt?

Also. that was in no way a "sucker punch"
Blount was in full gear...Hout had his helmet OFF and was turning his cheek.

In the world of fighting, that's considered being a bitch or a punk...that's just the way it is. Its like punching another dude in the nuts, you just DON'T do it.

Smack talk is apart of sports, period. Smack talk goes on in EVERY sport EVERY day a game is played. Only in hockey is fighting ALLOWED. This aint hockey.

Football is a contact sport, homie...everyone on the field "gets touched and talks shit".

I dont know about Idaho and the Northwest but in the rest of the world, talking shit + touching that person = punches thrown.
LOL @ it being a regional thing. Most players from both teams are from CALIFORNIA.

:ermm:

Maybe he saw it in his peripheral vision, maybe he didn't. It was so fast he didnt even have a chance to react manually. Him flinching is a natural reaction that little people can control.

Blount kept it at words but this punk Hout crossed the line and made it into something else. If Blount wouldve just hit him and then went to the locker, it mightve been a different story but all the shit afterwards made the suspension longer.
As this is somewhat true, Blount ran his mouth, and when the smack talk went back in his face, he reacted like a sandy vagina faggot and hit him. He performed HORRIBLY and before it went down, HE RAN HIS MOUTH. Again, don't dish it out if you cant take it. Thats pussy shit.

Who gives a shit WHY Blount blasted dude, provoked or not. He has to be smarter than that. His college football career is over now and his pro stock just dropped drastically. Hope that sucker punch was worth it.

i think this is fucking bullshit, Oregon is acting way to harsh. Just like the Boise State coach said its just players letting their emotions get the best of them. Hes a bitch for socking dude up with his helmet on and not walking off the feild right after. But ruining this young guys career over this is bullshit..

i think a suspension for the hit would have happened but when you go after fans for talking shit when that happens in every sport then u deserve to be suspended. He has to learn to control his emotions or I dont think many teams will want to take a chance on him. To me the going after fans is worthy of the suspension for the year

LOL

Like you often like to argue, that is your opinion.

And? If some dude gets arrested for shooting someone, you think the judge is going to hear his plea of "well, he said 'fuck you' to me, so I shot him!"
And I wouldn't agree with the judge in that situation anymore than I agree with the one-sided punishment in this situation.

IMO if someone says something that could be interpreted as fighting words (and I don't want to make this a discussion of what could be interpreted as fighting words but suffice to say "fuck you" is enough) then whatever happens after that should be acceptable retaliation. That is only IMO though.

And it was Boise St., not Idaho.
Touche.

And Blount talked shit BEFORE the game...his quote was IN THE NEWSPAPER FOR EVERYONE TO SEE!!!! So did Blount deserved to get hit, even though he didnt?
All I heard blount say was "we owe them an ass whopping" if he said more let me know but as far as I am concerned, "fuck you" and "we owe them an ass whoppin" are not in the same ballpark.

Blount was in full gear...Hout had his helmet OFF and was turning his cheek.
So Blount is obviously smarter than Hout lol

In the world of fighting, that's considered being a bitch or a punk...that's just the way it is. Its like punching another dude in the nuts, you just DON'T do it.
I agree that is they how it is considered by societal perspective in general but I am willing to let everyone call me a bitch, as long as the dude is more fucked up then I am, that all I care about.

And if someone is worried about how people are gonna judge their actions, and I only care about winning, who do you think has the advantage?

Smack talk is apart of sports, period. Smack talk goes on in EVERY sport EVERY day a game is played. Only in hockey is fighting ALLOWED. This aint hockey.
IMO, there is a big difference between smack talk during a game and walking up to sometime after beating them, slapping them anywhere on the body, and saying something disrespectful.
