The Game is to be Sold was aight but Top Dogg was the better album because it was when he got to do what he wanted with West Coast Artists not just the No Limit Camp... look at the features Dr. Dre, Xzibit, Nate Dogg, Warren G.. it was more of an album he wanted then what Master P wanted.

It was like the first album sucked because it was Master P and Snoop was taking orders from the tank and after that album sucked P woke up and let Snoop do what he wanted.

I hate Snoops new stuff... he ain't OutKast so he shouldn't experament in my oppinion.... anyone see his latest Country Rap inspired by Everlast... that shit was whack.

Top Dogg and Tha Last Meal were pretty good albums. The Game Is To Be Sold was okay, but it was No Limit beats for a west coast artist. It probably wasn't a bad album, but when you look at his first two albums and how great they were, it makes it sound like garbage. Hell, all of Snoop's albums sound like garbage compared to his first two, but that doesn't mean they are bad albums.

Snoop was still young and was looking for the hottest label to be a part of because I think he still had some things to learn about running his own label. I remember right before he signed the deal with No Limit he and Master P. were on MTV's Rock n' Jock softball game playing on the same team. I wouldn't be surprised if they verbally sealed the deal right there. Don't ask me how I remember that.
Dogg Father was & still is wack as fuck. Downtown Assassins is the only tight song on there. Vapors was cool too. That's shit was far from decent.

And Snoop didn't go directly to Master P. Snoop was leaving Death Row & Priority was gonna buy out Snoops contract. Snoop was gonna be left wide open & Priority said "Snoop needs a team to be on". Suge was like " u got No Limit over there. What about them?" P never sat down & discussed shit with Suge(atleast that's what Suge said).

And honestly Snoop went cuz he had to do something to get away from Death Row. Look @ the features he had on his first NL album. Do u honestly think Snoop would of had ANY of them niggaz on his album if he had any creative control or a choice in the matter? Fuck No!! How many of them NL niggaz did he work with AFTER he left NL?

The last album I was feelin from Snoop was "The Doggfather"...
n Tha Eastsidaz "G'd Up" was pretty clean too...

I'm a westcoast beat head, so once Snoop left to No Limit, I lost interest...
I miss the old school Battlecat, Daz, Soopafly, n Dre production behind him..
