u also wanted that backstreet guy? tisk tisk

actually.. yeah because I can see him and Tech doing a song about being on tour, having to deal with demons such as groupies and drugs...hell, add Kaliko to the song and it would be interesting even more.

the folks that hate on John Cena are fuckin retarded because Cena's got some flows that blow away Mike Jones... but then again, probably Vanilla Ice can blow away Mike Jones' "Skills"

Anybody who thinks Tech and a Backstreet Boy should do a song together should never come on to this forum again.... :dead:
you fear what you do not understand...A.J. from backstreet boys was doing drugs and banging groupies while on tour and went to rehab...I just thought that it would be cool to have TEch and Kaliko collab with him with a song that has to do with being on tour, dealing with drugs and groupies and temptation, that's all.

If Eminem can make good songs with Elton John and Dido, or Bone Thugs collabing with Phil Collins then I believe that A.J. Mclean of Backstreet Boys can make a great song with Tech and Kaliko....and I bet if they did, it would be waaaaaaaaaaaaay better than that shitty Justin Timberlake featuring 50 Cent song. sorry haters, but I'm a fan of all types of music.

here are MORE mainstream Rock/or R&B people I'd like to see Tech collab with:
Jon B.
Usher
Justin Timberlake
Craig David
Missy Elliot (along with Krizz Kaliko)
Aaliyah (if she was still alive)
Jack Johnson
The Smashing Pumpkins (if they got back together, but I'll settle for Billy Corgan)
Red Hot Chilly Peppers
Jessica Andrews
Kelly Clarkson
Joe
Seal
Tracy Chapman

sorry if my ecclectic taste is tasteful to some of you, but that's just my opinion

Man I listen to A LOT of different music myself, but I know when one artist will complement another or not. And easily half of that list isn't even close to the sound Tech has or I believe is trying to do. I mean come the fuck on...Kelly Clarkson? Jon B., Usher, Justin Timberlake, Craig David maybe, Missy Elliott although very creative I don't dig any of her tracks, which to me are already to poppy anyway. Jack Johnson...not even close, two totally seperate types of feels/emotions, Smashing Pumpkins...not really that style either although probably closer. I don't know bout these man.

Seems to me, that you want Tech to change his sound so he can appeal to more mainstream listeners by way of popular artists. IMO thats the last thing I want to see Tech do.

More mainstream artists I think Tech would blend well with:

Busta Rhymes
System of a Down
Eminem
DMX
Twista
Crooked I

Just off the top.

I dig all the artists on your list....
now...about you saying that I want Tech to change his sound to appeal to more mainstream listeners....lol, he has all the skills to be an underground AND mainstream artist....shit, I'd love to see a future Tech album that DOES feature an underground artist on a track or 2... then on the same album, have a track or 2 with mainstream artists....why? because it shows that Tech can be a UNIVERSAL artist in which, if he DOES collaberate with ANY type of music, HE can make that shit sound tight because he has SKILLS and TALENT....get what I'm saying?? But yeah, I'm really liking this whole thread...atleast it isn't turning into stupid threats and ignorant replies.
it's all about RESPECT, I believe that Tech needs to be one of those rappers that even country singers and boy bands respect...but at the same time, can STILL spit and make future underground hits at the same time just like how 2 Pac and Biggie were. If and when that happens, Tech will be a household name and the perk for the REAL hardcore Tech fans like you people on this board is that you guys and girls can have a special place in your minds that you actually helped Tech and Strange Music become big and school the hell outta mainstream fans about Tech so they can see that Tech N9ne isn't really just a ONE HIT WONDER or whatever they will dub him as once he gets bigger than he is.

Just because Tech has the skills and talent doesnt mean he should collab with any and whoever. It ain't like Techs music is that "universal" anyway. There are many, many artists...rappers as well that I wouldn't ever want Tech to do anything with just based on the sound. You say respected by other listeners...well sorry to break it to ya, but I don't know how much "respect" Tech or his fans have for other genres such as pop, new country and whatever other nonsense is out there. I listen to Tech because he isn't like any of that crap....and I hope it never comes to that point.
