Damn my first tape was that Raza Loca with Kriminal and Sonny boy Lokster at the Tulare remate, I remember they were selling them to the foo that sells CD's and tapes there and I picked one up for 10 bones at the time.
My first norteno album was chicano conspiracy - bury me with the mic. It wasn`t really "norteno rap" like it is today but I think it was crazy times records first album and it was on point I wish I could find a cd version of that album. I also bought the original "from the barrio with love album" before I even knew the deal with darkroom. But of course my first true norteno album was 17 reasons and gun right after that.
i think they say that becuase it had the song northside soldier, which is what most homeboys were bumpin hard before 2000. it was one of the only songs that were banged out and representing to the fullest at the time
MY FIRST NORTENO CD WAS "NORTHERN WARRIORZ" BY HOGGLIFE!!!
I LIKED A LOT, THAT WAS ALWAYS THE FIRST TIME I EVER HEARD WOODIE RAP!!!
I HAVEN'T LISTENED TO THAT CD IN A LONG ASS TIME, I'M BOUTS TO BUMP WHEN
I GET HOME!!!
