"Christianity is the most perverted system that ever shone on man." -Thomas Jefferson

"It was, of course, a lie what you read about my religious convictions, a lie which is being systematically repeated. I do not believe in a personal God and I have never denied this but have expressed it clearly. If something is in me which can be called religious then it is the unbounded admiration for the structure of the world so far as our science can reveal it." -Albert Einstein

"An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind." -Gandhi

"I am an atheist, out and out. It took me a long time to say it. I've been an atheist for years and years, but somehow I felt it was intellectually unrespectable to say one was an atheist, because it assumed knowledge that one didn't have. Somehow it was better to say one was a humanist or an agnostic. I finally decided that I'm a creature of emotion as well as of reason. Emotionally I am an atheist. I don't have the evidence to prove that God doesn't exist, but I so strongly suspect he doesn't that I don't want to waste my time." - Isaac Asimov

"History doesn't repeat itself, but it does rhyme." -Mark Twain

"When the government fears the People, that is Liberty. When the People fear the Government, that is tyranny." - Thomas Jefferson

"If the Americans go in and overthrow Saddam Hussein and it's clean, he has nothing, I will apologize to the nation, and I will not trust the Bush Administration again, all right?" - Bill O'Reilly March 18th 2003

For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted.
-Geesuz

You have heard that it was said, "You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy". But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you, that you may be sons of your Father in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust.
-Geesuz

For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father also will forgive you; but if you do not forgive men their trespasses neither will your father forgive your trespasses.
-Geesuz

Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.
-Geesuz

And this is my personal favorite.....

Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature?
"So why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?
"Therefore do not worry, saying, "What shall we eat?' or "What shall we drink?' or "What shall we wear?' For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

"When a young person loses faith in his religion because he begins to study science and its methodology it isn't that through the obtaining of real knowledge that he knows it all, but he suddenly realizes that he doesn't know it all."
-Richard P. Feynman

"How many conservatives, who talk constantly about restoring America's Christian heritage, have you heard mention that Washington, John Adams, Franklin, Jefferson, and most of the other founding fathers, as well as Lincoln, were not Christians? It was Washington who insisted that no reference to God appear in the Constitution. "The government of the United States," he declared, "is not in any sense founded on the Christian religion." Jefferson produced a life of Jesus (still in print) from which he removed all the miracles to let the heart of Jesus' teachings shine forth. Not one of the first seven presidents professed the Christian faith."

Luke 4:5
And he [Satan] led Him [Jesus] up [a mountain] and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time.

You cannot see all the places on earth at the same moment, because it's a sphere.

Daniel 4:10
Now these were the visions in my mind as I lay on my bed: I was looking, and behold, there was a tree in the midst of the earth and its height was great.

Where is the middle of a sphere? The earth is assumed to be flat.

Daniel 4:11
The tree grew large and became strong and its height reached to the sky, and it was visible to the end of the whole earth.

How can a something be visible from the whole earth?
Does this also mean that an earth has an end?

Revelation 1:7
BEHOLD, HE IS COMING WITH THE CLOUDS, and every eye will see Him, even those who pierced Him; and all the tribes of the earth will mourn over Him. So it is to be. Amen.

Every eye will see him? Only if the earth was flat.

Mathew 4:8
Again, the devil took Him to a very high mountain and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory;

All the kingdoms of the world? Only on a flat earth.

Job 9:6
Who shakes the earth out of its place, And its pillars tremble

So the earth isn't just flat, it's on pillars as well!

You need to pick up the bible yourself instead of doing your research through a middle-man.
You've point out a common misconception of the bible here.

God tells the people in the bible that they shall not kill....
To understand why God asked Joshua, Moses, and David to kill certain people you must understand the entire story of the Old Testiment. Satan's been tryin to spoil God's plans since day one, the serpent in the garden who caused Adam and Eve to lose eternal life. He then spoiled mankind shortly after that which caused God to kill everyone except for Noah's family.
Then came the descendents of Abraham (Jews) who were enslaved by the Egyptian pharaoh (4got his name). Which in turn the pharaoh was influenced by Satan. Again Satan's tryin to spoil God's plans....
Then there is the people in the land of Canaan, AKA the promise land who God commands Joshua to destroy them.
You have to understand that these people were also the same as the wicked people God had previously destroyed with the flood. These same people later resurfaced and again, God then commanded David to destroy them. Remember David and Goliath? Goliath was one of these people, unusually tall. The book of Enoch (whom Christians do not believe to be God inspired scripture but is contradicted because part of it was found together with the Dead Sea scrolls) tells a story of a hybrid race of humans and angels. Many believe this hybrid race were these giants such as Goliath and the Canaanites.
So it makes sense why God would want these "things" destroyed, they were part of Satan's plan as well. It was Satan who caused the fallen angels to sin and create this hybrid race....

You took these passages out of it's context. This is the prophet Daniel describing a dream he had.

Read what the prophet Isaiah says about the Earth in: Isaiah 40:22 and compare it to Isaiah 29:3

This passage is tryin to say that everyone will witness Jesus's return simultaneously. Keep it in it's context, this is the part that deals with fake Messiahs claimin to be the second coming of Christ. Jesus warns us not to be fooled for his return will be clear to the entire World. Everyone will know when he arrives....
