I'M GENERALLY OPTIMISTIC ABOUT THE RAIDERS THIS SEASON. WE HAVE A NICE AMMOUNT OF TALENT ON OFFENSE AND I THINK WE'RE GONNA BE MARKEDLY IMPROVED, WINNING 7 MAYBE 8 GAMES.

I'M REALLY CONCERNED ABOUT OUR OFFENSIVE LINE THOUGH..WILL THEY CONTINUE TO IMPROVE? WILL KWAME HARRIS PLAY DECENT? AND OUR WIDE RECEIVERS... SOME QUESTIONS THERE.

my expectations, playoffs and win. I wont go into the superbowl untill i see my team start preforming in december. I wanna see my team works as a unit with all the talent we have on both sides of the ball. the def. we have this year im expecting to be top 3 def. this year offense im expecting top 5. Im asking alot but on paper we should be able to accomplish it.

what im concerned about? injuries. especially at WR. Our young guys didnt show much when they played so hopefully theyll show me something in the preseason games. Im a little concerned about all the spotlight right now but imma have to wait it out so see what happens.

the two aspects of the game i want to see the most is our defense and special teams.

im expecting another division title from the packers. my main concern is depth at cb cuz harris & woodson gettin old & if 1 of em goes down we go from 1 of the best cb tandems 2 one of the worst. shudda got pac man, errr adam. i think rodgers will hav immediate success since we hav weapons on offense & hes had a few years 2 learn from favre & learn the playbook. im thinkin super bowl appearance in the next 2 years if im rite bout rodgers. dont sleep, ted thompsons been quietly stockpiling a gang of young talent. unless that was all favre & we had the luckiest season ever last year? i definitly didnt see that comin last year.

My main concern about the Raiders is Javon Walker. Will he be recovered (from the robbery), recovered from knee surgery and will he be in shape when the season comes. Our offense is depending on this mf man. I hope he comes through because he got breaded!

Now that we've drafted McFadden and added some deep threats to our receiving arsenal we should give the Chargers a decent run for tops in the AFC West. Adding DeAngelo Hall and getting rid of king of missed tackles (Stuart Shweigart) our defense should be better too. We should finish 11-5 with a wild card playoff berth at least!

Expectations first: anywhere between 7-9 or 9-7. I expect an exciting running game if we can get some much improved blocking and Russell to be consistant, to keep defenses honest. Defense should improve; can't be much more of a letdown as last season, considering the previous couple of years.

Concerns: Receiving. We have a couple of #2 receivers, and no proven threat. This could work to our advantage if they can come out and perform alongside the running game. Both lines need to step up. You cannot perform well on the offensive side of the ball if you have linemen falling on their asses after getting sneezed on, committing false starts every other play, and forgetting their assignments. Solid running backs (Tomlinson, Johnson, etc.) can't be allowed to run free through the d-line, and run circles around the secondary. Main concern is Russell. He's a load of talent, but so was Danny Wuerffal.

With the proper improvements, 2nd in the AFC West.
