I know I've lost contact with some homie's in my life and who probably think I've "vanished". But they'd be mistaken. They just never put an effort to contact me after a while so even though they still your homie I let them do their own thing.

I been out here in the 209 bout two and a half years now. Meetin homeboys left and right, connecting and learning the hoods.

FRESNO, Calif. -- The Fresno County courthouse was packed with law enforcement officers and gang members Monday, all interested in testimony from a gang member-turned-informant who could be the link between six murder cases.

A double murder case was the center of attention Monday, but it's just the first case with the same key witness -- a former gang leader now in hiding.

Cesar Garcia is the former gang leader who wore a wire and helped police close dozens of cases, including six murders. Officers took extreme measures to protect Garcia as he took the witness stand for the first time.

Police officers in protective gear, in uniform, and out of uniform swarmed the courthouse -- at the courthouse entrance, in the hallways and in the courtroom.

The massive security force came for a man they're trying to keep as invisible as possible. Garcia wore a wire and collected evidence against his Norteno counterparts in Reedley. Action News was there during the huge gang sweep that followed. But defense attorneys say he can't be trusted.

"You do get something out of [being an informant] and it's substantial," said attorney Ralph Torres, who represents Hector Trejo, one of the two men in whose case Garcia testified Monday. "It provides a reason to entrap."

The judge wouldn't allow our cameras in court as Garcia took the stand in a preliminary hearing Trejo and Manuel Villanueva, two of the suspects arrested in the October 2010 sweep.

Officers brought in Garcia through a back corridor and at least ten armed officers sat in the courtroom during his testimony.

Garcia recorded Trejo and Villanueva discussing details of a murder in Reedley in April 2009. But Torres says the recordings are no more than young gang associates trying to impress an elder.

"Everybody knew how [the murders] happened," he said. "Everybody knew where the shots were. Small town, the type of people there -- we all knew about it. So what does it mean that they know something? You're talking about bravado with no substance."

Garcia says he wore the wire because he wanted to start a new life for himself and his family. He's now living with police protection and he's expected to testify in the six murder cases against 11 different defendants. Garcia says, now that he's testified, every Norteno from Delano to San Jose will want to murder him.

when i read the title i knew exactly wat u was about to say lol.. serio tho, homies are droppin like flies! alot homies lock it up quick when they hit county or the pinta because they done some shady shit to other homies or their scared they gonna have to wack someone.. or someone smudin them up so they get put on ice.. when in reality just cuz u on ice that dont necessary make u all bad. but yup it does weed out the cowards tho..wat i dont like is homies smudin other homies up over a femalea.. i aint feelin that cuz female are skanless liars at times.. we are all united as one and shouldnt trip off a female unless thats your wife or you know you fuckin wit another homeboys lady when u kno another homie is with her and been with her for a minute.. females and dope are the main reasons that i see alot of homies lock it up and fall off.. then theres homies who hit a bad yard and dont take off like we suppose to.. ive seen homies come back tho only because it was there first term, they were young and they werent ever givin the knowledge on what they are suppose to do when a situation like that occurs because the county they came from wasnt programming like homies are suppose to.. so in situations like that i can see a homie gettin his get backs.. fuck a NGN and a DROP OUT.. them Northern riders are gettin deep everywhere tho, they tryin to push for the mainline from what i heard.. Regardless of what we speakin about, Love Loyalty and Respect is conveyed in full strive to all my solid active brothers that are still striving for the betterment of our cause... C/R

I stayed off cherry in Ast for nearly ten years. The homies don't take kindly to someone banging they hood when you ain't from it. I bumped shoulder with crooked a handful of times.
