I just listened to this album 7 times and am begining to like it more each listen. I cant believe it but I actually enjoy a couple slow songs. I skip 2 songs now. Over all Id say theres a higher quantity of good songs but the 4 best tracks from Trunk Music Kill anything on this album.
Album is on some different shit but it's dope to slap and just kinda chill and think and shit. Dudes a pretty dope storyteller.

I skip song 2 after Yela's verse vuz Mystikal and that other lame are turrible.

I've begun skipping the Em song too. It's kinda tight but not replayable after about 10 listens.

Other than that tho it's some jams and fuck Charlamagne tha God that cats the Skip Bayless of rap commentary

As for the album as a body of work, it had its inconsistencies. However, the pivotal points stood out clear. I like that he approached it more as an artist, rather than a sales pitch (ie. using features that aren't topping the charts).

Some of the production didn't compliment his style for me, and some was just meh. Songs like "Hard White" and "Growing Up In The Gutter" were good representations of a good pairing. I had my doubts about the Diplo track, but it ended up being one of the stronger points for me.

You guys aren't feeling Mystikal? Shit, I've always loved the energy that his flow has. [mystikalvoice]DAAAAAAANGER! GOT DAMN![/mystikalvoice]

Overall a pretty good album.

yea that diplo track animal is my favorite!

I think he was talking a couple jabs at MGK on that track.

I gotta feeling the upcoming Slaughter House album and teh new D12 albums about to be raw. Eminem not playing about putting his artists out. I dont care too much for 50 Cent now if his Before I Self Destruct 2 album gonna drop on Shady or Not.

I agree that Em track isnt a highlight song of the album I do Think that was one of Gangsta Boos weakest verses of her career EM & YELA outshined her fully. Mystikal verse was good to me you just gotta be able to get into his voice to feel him. The other dude on that song is Shawty FATT hes a upcoming rapper from Yelawolfs hometown and Its tight how yela repped his city and put him on that track. HERES A PIC OF HIM AND YELA
