Rose Town- There aint no real money in music unless your on the other side homie. Our money dont come from making records. Think we're desperate for bread don't kid yourself.
i know the deal homie... its just that i dont see the point of puttin all your time and effort into music, and slap a little joke name like buymai records. that name is supposed to represent something and it just seemed like they wasnt takin nothin serious, but i peeped the music and found it was not all bad. its just at first glance, that name would seem like a joke to somebody thats all i was sayin. whether u make yo bread through music is irrelevant (at least to me) if u puttin it on shelves then it better be somethin quality, not buymai records, that sounds like some wierd al type shit to me... just my 2 cents.

Bottom line. Those diss tracks were recorded years ago. There are no ill feelings towards Ya Boy. Check the archives. As for those who dont feel Sufur aside from all the bullshit surrounding the name all good. To those who are feeling his music much appreciated. Mixtapes in progress so keep an eye out for em. Gone

the diss track is hot...he flows, and u can tell he knows hes got a flow...that beat is tight too.

edit: and i do like that its not the typical "bay" sound...this is a good hip hip track, diss or not.

obviously that does means hes better, you act like people are out to get bay rappers like they dont want them to get big, they recongnized ya boy was one of the best artists out here and they called him up he didnt venture off and network
The fuck are you talking about? Ya Boy is tight, but you don't think his family ties with Quinn helped him get signed to Done Deal? And you don't think that in turn helped him get noticed by blackwallstreet? Come on now. It's never been about who's the best or who's the most talented. It's not even all about who works the hardest. Opportunity plays a major part. Those who get it and those who don't rarely find themselves on the same level. I'd never heard of Sufur before, yet this cat is pretty damn good honestly. A lot better than a lot of bay rappers who get ten times the hype.

If you talking about Throw in the Towel... the beat is from Ice Cube's Ghetto Vet, that's why it's not the "typical bay sound".
