this topic is definetly interesting, we just dropped our first release and we went out to get our hustle on, 6 hours later, hitting up numberous spots, we sold 2 cds, and the biggest excuse we got was "naw man me and my cuzzo is doin that so i dont need to buy your cd" and various other excuses along the same line, its the wack shit, people in the northwest dont really support their local artists, i mean i could be wrong, but from being out their on the grind, its gonna be hard to convince me that i am.

yea i dont know what it is, and not to mention that every place we went to we got harassed for out their tryin to hustle our music, we got harrassed by the cops at a damn beach, i mean how retarded is that? where the fuck are people supposed to go to try and earn a livin ya dig? not everyone can put on a show and not everyone wants to be in the store when they are just starting out.....oh well i wonder if its that bad anywhere else....down south people be sellin gold in just their area, thats the kind of support we need here, but i guess before we do that we have to get that signiture sound like the south got.

exactly. Thats how i feel. muthafuckin Ludacris went around the south and sold 50,000 cd of his first damn cd. Muthafuckin crazy shit. Why cant we do that in the NW? I feel like everyones a stingy ass bastard that dont feel like helpin someone out. I didnt know it was like that everywhere in the NW cuz we get tha same shit in SPOKANE. im startin to go to Couer D' Alene (sp?) to slang my fuckin cds.

yeah its like that... i had two hundered cds and went up to the rose festivel (a carnivel in portland erry body goes to)..... i got em all off, but it took a few days.. and i prolly tryed to hustle to about 3 or 4 thousand ppl... and then about 30 somethin ppl that bought em were homies supportin..

since then i was in seattle and damn near had to pass them damn cds out for free...

ive had some experiences like that, except not with 200 cds. much less, thankfully. after like 3 months we actually started handing them out for free. It was such a low budget thing it didnt really matter. it should have been a free promo thing anyway. fuck it.
