im a long time fan of the alkaholik click. i embraced x since his first release at the speed of life. i remember when restless 1st came out people thought that was his 1st. he really became what he disliked . hollywood. plus after all the lyrical tough talk he stayed getting bullied. e-di from the outlawz-bomb 1st, snoop-pimp slapped, j-ro- x-homie, etc muthafuckin etc.
He came with a song like "Paparazzi"... and then said, "why rap when I can make $20 mil on a flick." That's a pretty extreme transition... he went way Hollywood. Can't judge him for it but it's crazy how many people have talked down on this dude over the years. I had a couple of friends years ago that worked on the film "Longest Yard" with him and they said he was real funnystyle.
that's why ole boy went up upside his head with that because his funnystyle hollywood mentality. redman get that hollywood cash but he still be up on the block in jersey with the same niggas he grew up with. nothing wrong with getting 20 mil a flick. im sure he's not getting it yet. im not hating. i use to like him. matter of fact i was a big fan. i was looking for to the golden state warrior project and him with the strong arm steady.
