If you have not heard of or contacted a group called November Org, it may be helpful to you if you do.
Nora Callahan is the founder of the group, and she started it when her brother got 30 years on bogus charges. I met Nora when my brother got 21 years for a conspiracy charge. We've even gone to Berkeley, Ca and walked the streets in protest, like the old days.
She's a great woman, a good resource, and relentless. Her Myspace page is:

They often put a man's story in the newspaper they send out, and it goes to MANY high powered attorneys, who often take Pro Bono cases when they can.

We all need to be more active in helping others in these outrageous sentencing terms people are getting, and we need to care before it becomes personal and strikes a family member.
