I bought my track from Amazon.

Yeah, Ice Cold would be tight redone......but I don't think it will be the same because I like how the track sounds now......it has that grimy feel to it with the phone vocals.

update from X-Loc's blog

Speak The Truth - new single info
X-Raided, Speak the Truth.
Written by A.Brown and R.Morales.
Published 2009 Bloc Banger (ASCAP).
From the LP Bloc Bizniz (March 23, 2009).

First of all, Filthy Rich made a dope track for this. It's customized for this specific rhyme and that can be felt. Most so-called producers are just guys who make beats, but Filthy Rich makes songs. I gave him the rhyme and he constructed the track around the lyrics and married them. It makes us superior. With this rhyme, I'm talking to the late OG Oakland rapper Seagram, who was murdered just as he was gaining some shine. To me, he is a forgotten hero. By being good enough to sign with Rap-A-Lot in the early 90's he opened doors for all of us who do this in Northern California. We owe a debt to Seag for that. Know your history cuzzin.

So I'm reporting the news to Seag and critiqueing hip hop from white rappers, thizzing, the dominance of southern rappers, New York and the West struggling, to rappers claiming not to be rappers. I cover a lot of ground in that 48 bars. The Eminem line isn't a dis. It's a quote from his own album. When Seag was alive the most successful white rapper was Vanilla Ice. I'm just saying. A lot has changed since then. Eminem did to hip hop what Tiger did to golf. Can't take it from him.

I like this one. I hope you do as well. Enjoy.

Anerae "X-Raided" Brown.
and...
Octavius Miller and Co.

I'm being told that Octavius Miller's upset about Speak the Truth, says it's his song and he wants it taken down. Yeah. Ok, nigga. I want to know if that's true. If it is, nigga FUCC you. I wrote that song for Seag. I dont owe you a damn thing. I own my rhyme and that track is original Filthy Rich. You should be happy we reppin Seag at all. I could easily have written it for Pac. So I want my muthafuccin respect and I dont want no nigga's ego or fantasy of being important to get in the way of that. Im tired of you dudes. Somebody better tell patna to clarify this issue or we go from respectfully civil to Fucc U 2. And if you touch my song now or use it on ANYTHING without paying me Im sending Ernesto and Scott at you for royalties. Thats for being selfish, egotistical and ungrateful. Own THAT nigga. And if you didnt say it, check your messengers. I dont give a fucc anymore. My team isnt speaking out of turn or being unreliable. Time for accountability. Appreciate love and respect or fucc off. Words of NXR

I had to be the bearer of bad news, was only tryin ta show Segram's brother love so I sent him the link to X's blog talkin bout the song bein' spoken to Segram. Octavius said that he owned that song. I really wanted to stay out of it but he said to jus pass the message and leave his contact ##. Was not going to speak on it publically but jus so ya'll know, now that its been addressed.
