This may be nothing but coincidence, but this and Kennedy kind of strike a thought.

Steve Austin was Kennedy's mentor, and highly supportive and there for him whenever needed.
The only other guy I can recall Austin giving praise to in the last 16 months is
Umaga, going so far as to say how he thought they should be pushing him to the moon. These are the only 2 guys I have heard Stone Cold praise, and being that it is Steve Austin has plenty of implications.

I think the wrestlers are concerned if they go to rehab they will be labeled as weak and never get their spot back. When Jeff Hardy left for TNA, he got their top belt and got the prize when returning to WWE, so there may be something to that, unfortunately.
