Don't eat anything 2-3 hours before you go to sleep, actually avoid eating late at night when your body gets in a more sleepy state.
And go 9-10+ hours without any food? Sounds like a perfect recipe for catabolism aka muscle loss.

Don't go without food.....ever. It's never a good idea. If you eat anything before bedtime, eat something with a LOW GI (cottage cheese, etc.) But going without food after __pm is going to do you more harm than good. The key is self control.

Right Right, my mistake. I usually just drink a protein shake right before sleep so any broken down muscle tissue can repair when I sleep and I have more energy in the morning when I wake up. I guess maybe a snack must suffice, I'm just suggesting that he shouldn't eat a meal close to bedtime.

Just eat 4 to 6 chicken breasts a day, small amount of vegs, NO bread, NO pasta. A good protein shake is helpful. Drink 8 glasses of water a day. Take a multi-vitamin and some L-Carnitine. You'll lose 10 pounds in two weeks. If you work out at the same time, you won't lose as much, because you'll build muscle and lose fat.

A person used to be able to "stack" by taking ephedrine, caffeine, and aspirin, but since they took ephedrine off the market, you can't do that anymore.

Taking weight loss advice from you is like Flavor Flav telling people to stay away from crack...

Sounds like a low carb diet.....in which case, you ain't building muscle. You need carbs for fuel, no way around it. I'm a low-carb fan, but low carbs doesn't cut it on a cutting or bulking diet.....it's only good for a shrinking diet.

Not that i'm saying to eat carbs all the time.......but, for example, don't have 2 cheese burgers, and don't have 2 cheeseburgers with no buns....have a double cheeseburger on wheat bread.

And yeah, no full meals before bedtime. Eat something light with lots of protein. Save that food for the morning when you wake up.
