i've started gettin' my yoke on daily about a week ago wit my Bowflex, and i need to know what are good sources of protein.... i know chicken is a good source of it, but how well does fried chicken from popeyes fare when it comes to protein? what else can i take that has a good ammount of protein so i can bulk up faster?

RagingHomosexual: well, you can always drink a tall glass of cum.

EA: Drinking a tall glass of sperm is completely out of the question.

RagingHomosexual: yeah, but cum is high in protein!

EA: NO SPERM, GOTDAMMIT!!

lol....
lean: beef fish poultry dairy nuts : chicken breast, steak, salmon, tuna, eggs, milk,
cottage cheese, almonds

when yer bulking i think the most important thing is the amount of protein your absorbing so i wouldn't rely on shakes other than for post workout and before bed......

i dunno what yer water intake is like but with a 1:1 ratio of gram of protein to lb of bodyweight u should work up to a gallon a day...

You might want to change your workout pattern to every other day because if you workout everyday youre not letting your muscles recover enough and you won't really build muscle. The foods people listed are good, and if youre not getting enough protein in your diet you should probably consider getting some whey protein... I ordered a 5 LB tub of some EAS whey protein for really cheap (20 bucks) from this site http://www.vitaglo.com/eas129.html It tastes pretty good if you use a blender and put a banana or some other fruits in. A really good forum for learning about body building is http://www.musclemagazine.com/bb/index.php?s=

Any meat is pretty high in protein: steak, chicken, fish, turkey, etc.

TUNA is VERY VERY high in protein. In a can there's like 36grams and little or no fat or carbs.

You could go to GNC this week, its goldcard week, 20% off everything. They got protein shakes and powders and bars and shit. Most of the bars taste like shit though, and the protein shakes aren't exactly like the ones you get from in and out.

Id give you more advice cause I worked out quite a bit, but recently Ive turned into a lazy piece of shit and due to chronic chronic use my memory on meal plans is hazy.

you can work out everyday as long as you dont work the same muscles over and over again. for example.....

do chest, shoulders and biceps on mondays and thursdays.

back and triceps on tuesdays and fridays.

legs on wednesdays. and rest on sat. and sunday.

that way you get plenty of rest between muscle groups.

also if ur looking to get bigger take in about 1 gram of protein per body pound. and also cut down on the amount of cardio you do. plus taking in more calories than usual is a good idea....just dont get them from mcdonals.

for protein i usually eat tuna, grilled chicken, turkey breast, and Dymatizes supreme whey proyein (like 20 bucks) at any supplement store.

Protein alone can make you big. Its better with the right carb amounts at the right times. I was always pretty low in carbs and made good gains, however i use all free weihts and a few cable exersizes. Machines are stupid and worthless for gaining any real strength and size as far as im concerned, but at least you have something to work with and youll see an increase.

Remember all those meats that were listed? Think about the different fat contents also. Steak has a LOT more fat than the tuna. You have 9 calories for every fat gram, compared to 4 for a carb or protein. So the same weight of steak will make you fatter than the same tuna serving assuming you eat all your meals the same.

i dunno about the bow flex u need free weights to do mass movements to gain mass....

and you need to get 8 hours of sleep and for MASS you need to eat alot of calories ALOT

lift heavy and lift eat set till FALURE
do not train longer then 1 hr a day only train the body part 1nce a week

AND FOR MASS GAINS CUT ALL ALL ALL CARDio out untill you want to cut up which should not be for a while*....its way easy to cut up gaining lean mass is the hardest part...

but rest is really important and most of you're gains come from the kitchen ....but when you work

and dont eat junk man ...junk is full of empty calories

peep www.bodybuilding.com u will find a ton of info there....
