Ain't no one gettin hurt over here...you're the one agitating over a free t-shirt and a couple dollars on the liquor bill in exchange for an autograph. Woodie ain't askin for much ($12 a CD, cheaper than anywhere I know) but you seem to think all of this shit is up for grabs...come on man, you wouldn't put in hours at the job site for no pay, would you? Giving away t-shirts and responding to the supporters is a major bonus to us, but it doesn't pay the electricity bills in the studio....doesn't put food on the table....doesn't put gasoline in the tank....etc. We like to think it's all love in the music scene, but we need 2 remember that it is a business for some folks....not a weekend hobby. Like it or not, this is a business relationship, as a matter of survival...People need to get paid for what they do.
all i know iz that woodie iz the only artist i know who takez hiz time to answer all legit Qz...he doesnt have to be up in here postin and shit...im sure he has better thingz 2 do...but 4rm what i see....hez happy to have all of us supportin him...all hez doin iz showin us sum love for that support....dont take advantage of what he givez to u...and chargin 4 a autograph aint shit...kik him down like 3 buckz and im sure he'll sign a CD or 2 for ya...like he said...let the homie grab a 40 atleast....fuck ppl nowadayz r hella jewish....be happy hez even on here....i mean most artist would juss look the other way....but woodie keepz it real and lacces all those that ask...right?

i had been thinking about this thread for a day or two now cause when you said you have made like 12,000 to 20,000 a year since you started rappin, was that after all your bills were paid and shit, or is that what you had to pay bills on, cause i don't see how you make it in cali if you do it on that much a year.

NO, NOT AFTER THE BILLS.....THAT'S WHAT I GOT TO PAY THE BILLS WITH. I MAKE ABOUT ANOTHER 5,6,7 G'S OR SO ON SIDE HUSTLES NOT RELATED TO THE MUSIC PAYCHECKS JUST TO KEEP ME AFLOAT AND TO KEEP EAST CO. CO. RECORDS FROM SINKIN' LIKE THE TITANIC. EACH ALBUM PUT OUT WE GOTTA RECOUP 20 TO 25,000 DOLLARS BEFORE WE SEE ANY PROFIT. OTHER THAN LEGAL/POLICE ISSUES IT'S ANOTHER REASON WHY I RELOCATED THE STUDIO TO THE 530, COST OF LIVIN' IS CHEAPER IN THE 530. BUT I'M IN IT FOR THE LONG HAUL SO I'LL BE DOIN' THIS SHIT 'TIL THEY KILL ME!!!!!
Wood do you need help actually gettin any work done for those of us that have extra time on our hands & want to contribute some effort on the strength to keep you new titans above water? I am hella bored at home on disability til Iam healed and really do appreaciate the words you put out about social and legal issues. A lot of that crap has affected my life horribly even since I was a lil kid, & I want to let you know I really feel your words & want to support what you're doin in any way shape or form that regular homies here can.

Also I don't know the whole wherewithall of how you working your studio promotions, but you might want to hit up a guy named Fred Duffin in Marin with music industry accounting and promotions offices in San Francisco. He handles Eminem, Kidd Rock, Metallica and Whitney Houston, and is real approachable if you come right. I used to work on hot tubs a few years ago before I got hurt and that dude has gold records on the walls all through his house in Marin. At the time, he was wondering whether he should quit backing Eminem and just focus on Kidd Rock (he's an old geezer metalhead) and he asked my opinion. That was right after Eminem's first popular record, and he thought Eminem was gonna be a one hit wonder wit "Slim Shady." I told him that all the kids I know know all of Eminem's lyrics by heart and sing his songs at every party bumpin his music. He kept up wit Eminem & look what happened. Now we got the exact same situation wit you. If you can find a way to hook up wit that guy, Iam knowing you can't lose, cuz he won't lose out on a good money maker. I can't get in touch wit him anymore cuz I don't work for the hot tub repair outfit & don't have the info, so I can't do it for you, but if he's an industry person you can find thru your connects please do yourself a favor & go for it. At least send him your CD or somfin, cuz that guy is crazy into making money & will be coo wit people like you. He's a nut and a half, but more or less a good business head as far as I can see.

Damn, i didn't know it was like that homie, that's so hard to believe to me, cause damn near everyone i know that has heard your shit, is totally feelin it. i am sure there are plenty of us on here that would be willing to help however possible to get you your paper that you're fo' shirley deserving. i know there are alot of people asking for deals and shit, but let me know if we can help ECCR somehow. i don't wanna be one of the ones tryna get what you got, I'd rather help you get what you deserve eNe. stay up homie, i am sure things are on the up and up.
