CMC used to play ALL bay area shit back in 94, it was great. Hip Hop Fridays in the afternoon, then the really good videos at midnight. Anyone out here with a vid got played. I guess some of you were about 8 or younger when that was happening lol

They will never do it again. Theyd lose out on too much commercial revenue. For those too young, you missed a magical time for the Bay. On any given Friday, youd see RBL, Totally Insane, Dre Dog, Mac Dre, Ray Luv, Click, Cold World, Guce, etc like it was TRL or some shit. And people actually called to request these vids. Franzen and Trace or Andy Kawanami would sport the Bay artists' shirts, promote their shows, etc. That was a MAJOR factor in the Bay Area. Its a real loss that they dont do it anymore.
