Look out God. Scott Walker controls the weather now too
It's in our union contract if the governer declares a weather state of emergency we don't have to go to work burp face.

On a side note we voted down our new union contract today for the 2nd time and were gonna go on strike so apparently my union ain't listening to that queef.

Teachers should be the highest paid or top 5 highest paid state employee IMO. I think teachers, firefighters, life saving doctors (read not bullshit plastic surgery) and cops should make the most money in the state aside from private businesses. I also feel that with that money higher consequences should be taken if they abuse privileges.

Cup you're trippin if you think teachers get paid guap

I think cops need to be paid hella money, but I also feel that since thy know the law they should be held accountable for their actions and should always receive the maximum penalty any time they break the law forfeiting any first time offenders leniency

I think that would solve a majority of corruption....if you shoot someone and there is any question as to motive the officer should not receive a paid vacation, they should get a gps anklet and monitored to make sure they don't try to flee...and police perjury should carry a minimum sentence of 1 year federal prison per offense....

Hundreds of residents of one of the poorest municipalities in Los Angeles County shouted in protest last night as tensions rose over a report that the city’s manager earns an annual salary of almost $800,000.

An overflow crowd packed a City Council meeting in Bell, a mostly Hispanic city of 38,000 about 10 miles (16 kilometers) southeast of Los Angeles, to call for the resignation of Mayor Oscar Hernandez and other city officials. Residents left standing outside the chamber banged on the doors and shouted “fuera,” or “get out” in Spanish.

It was the first council meeting since the Los Angeles Times reported July 15 that Chief Administrative Officer Robert Rizzo earns $787,637 -- with annual 12 percent raises -- and that Bell pays its police chief $457,000, more than Los Angeles Police Chief Charlie Beck makes in a city of 3.8 million people. Bell council members earn almost $100,000 for part-time work.

I think I’m going, tomorrow, because of this:

Madison - Tea Party groups plan to show their support for Gov. Scott Walker's budget repair bill as they scheduled a rally for Saturday from noon to 3 p.m. at the State Capitol South Entrance.
The event was announced Thursday by American Majority, a conservative group headquartered in Virginia with offices in several states, including Wisconsin.
In a news release issued by state director Matt Batzel, the group said: "As the week has progressed, Wisconsin and the Nation have watched schools across Wisconsin close due to teachers participating in a 'sick out,' the unions busing people in from other states to inflate their rally numbers in Madison and legislators fleeing the state to avoid the vote on the budget repair bill. It's time the voices of the Wisconsin people are heard."
Tea Party groups have held several well-attended rallies in the past in Madison, usually on April 15.

If Boots (The Coup/Street Sweeper Social Club) were coming back to Madison w/ Tom Morello and all them I'd probably go back again tomorrow.

Lot of state employees have the day off tomorrow for presidents day so they will be continuing the rally.

WI teachers have said they are returning to classes, but will continue protests after the school day has completed.

STATEMENT FROM GREEN BAY PACKER CHARLES WOODSON IN SUPPORT OF WORKING FAMILIES IN WISCONSIN

Last week I was proud when many of my current and former teammates announced their support for the working families fighting for their rights in Wisconsin. Today I am honored to join with them. Thousands of dedicated Wisconsin public workers provide vital services for Wisconsin citizens. They are the teachers, nurses and child care workers who take care of us and our families. These hard working people are under an unprecedented attack to take away their basic rights to have a voice and collectively bargain at work.

It is an honor for me to play for the Super Bowl Champion Green Bay Packers and be a part of the Green Bay and Wisconsin communities. I am also honored as a member of the NFL Players Association to stand together with working families of Wisconsin and organized labor in their fight against this attempt to hurt them by targeting unions. I hope those leading the attack will sit down with Wisconsin’s public workers and discuss the problems Wisconsin faces, so that together they can truly move Wisconsin forward.

Charles Woodson, Green Bay Packer cornerback and one of the team’s elected representatives to the players union.
