i've seen so does microsoft. they're no where near ps1 or ps2. they're ONLY goal was to have a video game system,,,but money lost was'nt a big issue because microsoft is a billion dollar company.

saw that shit on video game history.

they just came out a month ago..

microsoft x-box franchise never got close to sony. you got x-box and x-box 360.

sony had ps1 and ps2.

ps1 shitted on all systems in it's day (sales wise).

ps2 shitted on all systems in it's day (sales wise)

x-box took more losses then anything your talking about. microsoft don't care just as long as they got a system on the market.

they shot their load with 360. ps3 got the hardware and features to reach wayyy beyond that.

your talk'n about losses the game just started.

my arm still hurts from playing wii sports (i think thats what its called?) for 2 hours yesterday between 12-2pm, it was fun but damn can we go back to regular controllers? i do like the bowling..i set a new record on my cousins wii.

i think it's great that a small company like nintendo can take on huge corporations like microsoft and sony. i've always liked nintendo for their innovation. if all i gave a shit about was graphics, i'd build a new tower and stick to pc games. but for real, i doubt you'll see the price of a ps3 drop for at least two years. like others have said, sony is making no profit off of system sales. i thought it was funny though when i was at gamestop, this dude was like "i've got 3 ps3's in stock" and people were like "no thanks, we want a wii." wii's definitely leave the stores faster from what i've seen.
