Yup, that was my very first project, before No Limit blew up. I had the biggest No Limit site out there. It was fun. It was right out of high school. Roloc had gone to college in Oregon and I was going to college locally. No LImit started doing to much stuff and it was hastle keeping up, plus I had a battle with a hacker who kept trying to hack into the site. Too much drama for a website. So when Roloc came back, we hooked up and we put our heads together for 9-1-siccness.com

It's cool that you remember that.
righteous cuz

its crazy i remember that considering how much weed i've smoked since then....

I remember the piknik back in 2001, and seeing a bunch of people from the board, and it was cool putting a face on the names. since then, i left back to phoenix to finish skool, and 91siccness.com was my way of keeping in touch with everything up in norcal. I also remember the site being down everyonce in a while and the name changing started. ive been around for a while, but rarely post. but its easy to see that the site has gone a long way. keep up the great work, now im in texas, so as long as yall keep this bitch running, i can keep up with real music news other than the washed up, everyday, fake ass rappers you hear on the radio.

No mention of large donations from unidentified Siccness members?Hmm
Yeah, I sent $10 when I was a struggling college student back in 2001, and I hadn't even met Vamps yet. I just didn't want the site to disappear.

Subject: SICCNESS NEWSLETTER.. Vision statements!

...............................................................
Welcome to the Siccness newsletter.

If you have a desire to rip the Backstreet boys intestines out,
if you hate mainstream music. If you are looking for something
different, then you have come to the right place.

A LITTLE HISTORY:
The siccness started out a very long time ago but is just now
getting the attention that it has long deserved. For 10+ years
we have sat around and seen the changes in rap and almost lost
it completely. There is no doubt about who started the
siccness in my mind, Brotha Lynch Hung, the man who I like to
say "Is the Stephen King of rap!" However that does not mean
that he is the only one out there who has, the siccness. It
also doesn't mean that you have to talk about eating baby nuts
to be a part. Very confusing I know, but let me see if I can
explain.

Rap has evolved somehow into this glamorous "bling bling" type
of crap that does not depict anything except that you can rent
anything these days. Where is the truth, where is the heart,
where is the struggle that the average man must live through
everyday, especially in the inner city. The siccness is about
the struggle and overcoming it, it is about those times you
feel like ripping someone's heart out but can't, and hopefully
don't. It is a therapy that just happens to be delivered
through music, music that sometimes offends those with closed
shallow minds. That is the idea behind the siccness to me.

TO ME? WHO THE HELL ARE YOU?
I am a white 22-year-old male who has not only grown up
listening to this style of music, but I am also a part of it
now. My name is Roloc. Ok that is not my real name, but for
whatever reason that is what they call me. I have run this
website for over 2 years now and it has become more then just
a passion for me it has become a obsession. I have been
everywhere in the industry I ever wanted to go. I have shared
goals, hopes and dreams with all of the people I wanted to.
So what is next? Easy... I want to bring it all to you.

MY MISSION!
AS I said above, I am living it now I have sat down with lynch,
I have crept through the dark with THE DE, and I have witnessed
how the industry is and what it takes. However.. I am the
common man, I am exactly like all of you, and I do not have
that big of an ego that I can't share my experiences with you.
You will see the website evolve into more of what everyone was
hoping the 91siccness would do. I want you the viewer, whether
you live in Sweden or the Bronx I want you to know about the
siccness. I want you to chat, post messages and talk to the
actual people behind this music revolution, and we will make it
just that! A revolution. My goal is to have this music sneak
up behind the baccs of all of those top 10 mtv folks and slit
their throats (metephorically speaking of course). The
siccness will not discriminate, will except all walks of life
and people.

This newsletter will be the start of it all, I promise. It
will have news all of the time, probably some rants of mine and
for damn sure reviews, and where you can get your hands on the
latest from this revolutionary types of music. It may sound
cheesy but I am an average guy, I now run a website that
revives 250,000+ hits a month.
There is something here, lets spread the siccness and take this
rap game bacc.

Start by forwarding this if you would like or just tell
everyone about it. Some music's when everyone starts to like
it, it changes, lets make this different. All independent no
big labels, and lets take the industry by storm, 1 fan at a
time.

Much love,
Roloc

your love by your actions. I will try to make them usefull
to you but at least help us out, after all we do it for you.

Siccness has gone beyond what it was. Congrats on that. It just isnt the same as it was. Maybe Im getting old. Im not feeling alot of these new kids and The lack of artist involvment and decline of artists on here over the years has also been a downfall. This site was started around Lynch and Sac, and although it still bears the same name, its very little to do with them anymore at all. Maybe that is their fault maybe times have changed. But those great times of the old boards are gone, I remember when it was so much more of an actual community. fans and artists interacted and the music was very exciting. You could actully sell and trade cds in the trades and deals forum because people werent so much into cdrs and downloading then. The 916 scene has changed and I hope the best for all the rappers and business men in the game. peace
