And now look at Al Pacino:

Gigli?
Two For The Money?
Oceans Thirteen?
88Minutes?

Those are better than the movies De Niro was in?

Gigli is like the worst movie ever made. No excuse for that!

LOL @ this faggot writing the article like this is some kind of fucking epidemic.

Who gives a shit? If I spent the majority of my acting career doing Oscar worthy roles, at some point I, too, would look over at my hot ass African-American wife and tell her to suck my dick.

Wait... what were we talking about again???

I liked Goodfellas, Analyze This, and Meet The Parents.

I've been hearing that Robert De Niro has been playing a caricature of himself from before blogs were around.

Oh well, he works to provide for himself and family. He's an acting legend. If he's not putting out TAXI DRIVER performances anymore, I think it's still a little pointless to go on about it.

I mean, if he was ruining, otherwise good films, okay. But damn, why not write about an actor who's not recognized, but really, really good?

Wait till "The Irishman" comes out and I think you will find yourself happy again!

http://www.firstshowing.net/2010/robert-de-niro-confirms-al-pacino-joe-pesci-for-the-irishman/

Though the director just confirmed that Robert De Niro would collaborate again on The Irishman for the first time in 15 years, Martin Scorsese didn't address the reports that Al Pacino and Joe Pesci would also be participating. However, MTV caught up with De Niro himself, and the actor revealed that Pesci and Pacino are very much involved with The Irishman. A reunion of big names from various mobster films, the story will follow the life of Frank "The Irishman" Sheeran, a reputed criminal responsible for more than 25 mob murders and potentially being involved with the assassinations of John F. Kennedy and Jimmy Hoffa.

However, some disappointing news comes with the good as De Niro also revealed that the initial train of thought to have two different films surrounding seems to have fallen apart. Initially, there was talk about crafting two films around the source material book I Heard You Paint Houses. The first would be a standard biopic, but the second would have been "another kind of a [film that is] reminiscent of a kind of 8 1/2, La Dolce Vita, [a] certain kind of biographical, semi-biographical type of Hollywood movie — a director and the actor — based on things Marty and I have experienced and kind of overlapping them." But De Niro says that project would be, "more ambitious, to do one with Eric doing a flashback/flashforward kind of thing and to do two movies in one and then separate them as movies. I don't know if that will happen." Oh well, at least we get one film with this fantastic trio of actors and one of cinema's finest directors. Excited?

While I agree with alot of what was written, give De Niro a serious role and he will kill it. Regardless of the movies he has done as of late, he still is a legend and even if you hate the movies he choses to act in, you cant take away what he has already done.
this is exactly what i was gonna type, so no need to re-type it. Props to you.

On the same token, I think Christopher Walken is one of the best actors alive but he takes on a bunch of stupid roles because they'll write him a check, plain and simple. If you think about it, Robert DeNiro has been in so many roles, what opportunities are really going to open up to him at this age that is something he hasn't done before?
