While Pac was a great artist he is the definition of what you all call fake. He was just so good at what he did everybody thinks he is the definition of street.

He went to a private school for acting...
Was a dancer for Digital Underground (far from street)...
And I'm I the only one that noticed he started acting wild and getting arrested after he got a major deal (like just maybe it was a gimmick to sell records)...

Do the math...great artist yes...great actor, yes...definition of street by the standard 90% of you kids have, no.

Shooting 2 police officer in the south and living to tell about it w/out any crimal charges....yeah that makes him real fake. How many of these "real" rappers did that?
That acting school thing was a scholarship.
The man came up doin dirt before the deal before he was a dancer. If you didn't notice almost every rapper dances. WHen he was w/ Digital, pac also rapped too. Shock says so himself.

I know U talking to the man, but I thought I would take the time to enlighten you as well.

If 50 Cent shot 2 off-duty police officers and didn't spend a day in jail for it....you would call him a snitch. Tupac on the other hand is "real".

Hmmmmm.

Bottom line: 50 takes pictures with cops, Tupac was a target of cops.

Mainstream society has been a whole lot more accepting of famous rap cats these days as opposed to when Pac first came on the scene. I bet theres 14 year old girls mothers who would suck off 50 Cent after the Eminem tour who would've ran for the hills in 96' cuz tupac was a "rapist".

You cant really dance much to very many Tupac songs, and the few you can... we're made for that particular reason.

50 talks about clappin' wankstas and when the shit gets played IN DA CLUB white women start throwin they asses out in the air. :dead:

i dont see why people go by if they think they are hard or not. If your not from the town where the rapper is from your not gonna get that inside info. You just gotta go off the lyrics and if we do that than 50 is put to shame.

Thing that was so good about Pac was he made money without "selling out" if you wanna call it that.

now it's a race issue? what? white women can't dance to rap music?

I don't know about you, but when All Eyes on Me came out that shit had about 4 or 5 songs being played at teen night in a club.....IN FUCKING IOWA.

Don't tell me Pac didnt have club songs and didnt get play in the club. Because if he got play in IOWA....i'm almost certain that he got play most anywhere else.

And you want to talk about song content of songs getting play in the club.....hello!!! California Love? Hit em Up?

You may be too young to have seen those in a club scene, but violent contented songs like that were surely being danced to by many white girls in 96-97

you know what.....just shut the fuck up

Everytime I respond to you or make a valid point, you go running in a different direction.

Next thing you're going to do is compare 50 and Pac's moms.

What's "selling out"?

Making movies?

Having your own flavor of vitamin water?

Having his own shoe contract?

I GUARENFUCKINGTEE that if pac was alive he would have all the above going for him.

i think the reason that rap music has fallen off is that there is not much new being said. Adn the only people that are doing new shit and raw shit is in the underground. Everyone keeps saying tech is the next level but mainstream music lovers are not sophisticated enough to catch on. This is a world full of lazy people who do not want to think or open their minds so they latch onto things that are easy, not challemging, or non threatening. If some one like joe anus comes out with an album that just talks about drinking and fucking and not about religion or politics or race issues he will sell 5 million copies because the average person on the street does not want to think for themself or want any type of challenges in their life. fuck i am venting but shit the mainstream is garbage and full of stupidity.

Id like to see you show some example of how I will qoute anything you respond to of mine and I "run in a different direction". Maybe you should expand your intentions other than to just call people on minor inconsistencies you find throughout posts. It quite possibly may be that half of the shit you disregard as ignorant ramblings are really multiple perspectives on the subject at hand.

I guess i wrote it wrong but with the quotes i ment "selling out" as in people tend to call it that.

I dont hate on people for selling out, because most people call selling out having vitamin water, makin "radio" music, etc., but i look at it as making money. Cant go wrong with money.

to me, its not selling out if your... i dont know how to say it.... but lets just say like if "you" dont change...

you know...

like if there was a real tight rapper.... the best in the world... and everyone agreed on it... then he started all his vitamin waters and clothing lines and satelite radio shows... then he stopped putting effort into his music and started getting all homo with everything...and noone cared but a select few... call them haters... and the haters were the only ones to stand up and say this guys sucks ass, hes nothing what he used to be.

iono... like... take a look at someone like Adam Sandler who still goes to award shows in a tshirt and jeans... then look at someone like Lil' Kim who gets massive plastic surgery (and still looks like shit) and starts making fucked up demands to only have red M&Ms in her room and only Fuji Water do drink and take showers with n shit.

you know? shit like that.
