but in regards of this whole music industry thing,these artist are big on the local scale,but there are still residents in these bay communities who dont know of many of these bay area artist unless they get on radio or tv appearance some how,i mean...first impresssions are everything,in this is in regards of cd artwork...now this isnt my opinion on the artwork that was spoke on but in general, to first time buyers and to labels.the artwork is what they see first,and unfortunatly the mindset of people or their perception nowadays are viewed apon first sight,so if they feel you didnt put much effort in your graphics (which reflects your music) then your music must not be saying much,which isnt 100% the case.but thats what you are dealing with. the goal has always been to branch out to new areas and territory to spread your music across,and you have to have some know-how and marketing skills to reach out and succeed in those areas......

although siccness.net only represents a small percentage of listeners of bay rap/hip hop....there are alot of people (general public) who share the same opinions and objections,so the views on here shouldnt be biased. i know of ths because i go out and talk to alot of these fans and i support and promote alot of albums for a lil bit of everybody,and i be at all these events when my budget allows me too,and i mingle.......either way i like the graphics....i was unsatisfied,very unsatisfied of the mis directed tracklistings on the various projects that was just released.only because i was looking forward to hear one song that was supposed to be on an album,which later was found on another cd,and its on more than one release.but other than that i thought it was put together well

dont just blame streetshow for it.. cuz streetshow aint never put anything out without the artists permission.. the artist basically sells songs to streetshow and then they put an album together and put it out.. on some occasions they actually record the whole thing for streetshow and then get paid for the album.. ofcourse they are not going to give em their best material.. so take them for what their worth..

its like people complaining about mixtapes.. a mixtape is a mixtape.. mixtapes are not supposed to be like albums thats why there called mixtapes..

Most those CDs are hella solid that i heard, i don't care who puts the shit out as long as its good. I got pretty much all the Street show Mob Figaz releases and they are all pretty tight. I got EM2 and EM3 and they are both nice to me as well. Fed-Xs CD was extremly tight IMO. Pretty Blacks shit was put out by street show too and that shit knocks too. They gotta do something about some of those wack covers though but really who cares a cover don't mean shit.
