PLEASE LINK SOME EXAMPLES WHERE I TRASHED SOMEONE WHO WASNT TRASH PLEASE....IF YOU GONNA TALK OUT YOUR ASS BACK IT UP...
Who haven't you talked about, champ? Any time someone comes through with a website link, your first reaction isn't to listen to the music and give constructive criticism (should you not like what you hear); it is to [attempt to] demolish their music and their ego. You have done this on several occasions, and me looking up specific examples would be an exercise in futility, because all you would do is down play your shit talking anyways.

I understand you are a servant of the truth, friend; and that is respectable. But you should not ever allow yourself to forget that age doesn't equal truth, nor does experience equal truth; truth alone equals truth.

lol why would canibus' career be over ? Not every rapper gotta be 18 like Chingy or Bow wow to rap. Rip the Jacker was one of his best work, he's not gettin much love in term of sales but that doesn't mean he's done. Before you speak listen to the lyrics on this album.
Now the quotes you gave me, they're OK, but not that impressive to me. "99% of your fans don't exist". Well if that's a great rhyme of a great battle MC I should start rappin right now I make myself rich.
Canibus is so underrated.

"I fought to regain control of the plane, but went up in a ball of flames
and got banned from the hip-hop hall of fame
For two bars I kept hearin in my head
over and over again, it cost me everything
I'm convinced now that more then truth is at stake
Where people create language that pretends to communicate
Euphamisms are misundertood as mistakes
but its a bi-product of the ghetto music we make
From an extroverted point of view I think its to late
Hip Hop has never been the same since '88"

"One of my integral attributes, is to be lyrically tactful
I can prove who's nicer, who's not an emcee
Through falsifiable scientific hypothesis
In recent times, I find it's never been about the rhymes
The game is very politicized
Those who sympathize with they hearts and minds"

No, it is not. You are quick to shit all over someone's music if you don't know that person, but if it is in fact someone you know, you magically get creative and won't be as harsh. This is the truth.

Hmmmm...well, technically, L.L.'s diss was better than most of the mediocre tracks on PHENOMENOM, which would have been J.'s most recent CD back then (1998). But yeah, Canibus' diss had better flows and aggression all around.

Part of the problem for Canibus was that he had made a great name for himself in '97 w/ his cameos on different rappers' CDs. Because of this, there was a HUGE buzz for the CAN-I-BUS CD before it was released! The expectations were so high that it almost seemed like it would have been impossible for Canibus to satisfy everyone. And unfortunately, if you remember, CAN-I-BUS got less-than-favorable reviews; a lot of folks felt that the production didn't match Canibus' flow. Canibus went from being everyone's "favorite" up-and-comer to being treated like the retarded relative that your family keeps in the attic and doesn't talk about...

So, when LL's diss towards Canibus came out, it was on the heels of the bad press that CAN-I-BUS had just received, and a lot of folks who were disappointed w/ CAN-I-BUS hopped on the "pin the tail on Canibus" bandwagon by claiming that LL "killed" him. But they did so not because LL's diss was all that stupendous, but because: (1). Compared to most of PHENOMENOM, which, again, was not LL's best CD, the diss was dope, or at least better (for what that's worth), and (2). Peoples' disappointment in CAN-I-BUS blinded them to the fact that Canibus COULD rap--he just wasn't blessed w/ the best production on his first CD, that's all. Did the fans suddenly forget the camoes Canibus made w/ The Lost Boyz (and others) on tracks where the production DID match his style? Fans are funny like that, though...

So I think Canibus won. Just my opinion...

PEACE!

I love Canibus, he's tight as fuck. BUT to me "The Ripper Strikes Back" was a better diss track than 2nd Round KO or any other LL diss that Canibus made.

You can't say LL is fake, LL raps for hoes, blah, blah, blah because it's not about that at all. It's about who made a better diss track. While 2nd Round KO is tight, The Ripper Strikes Back is one of the best diss tracks ever and it totally destroyed Canibus. If you don't think so, you are just scared to say it. You think you will look like a punk because the actor/R&B rapper LL Cool J could NEVER beat the hardcore rapper Canibus, but it happened.

Lets compare verses, shall we? FIRST VERSE:

LL:
By the middle of March, when the pregnancy starts
In your ladies' placenta, that means L just entered
Duck taped your little bitch ass for frontin
You poor little crackhead ass ain't hurtin nuttin
Nigga you want the fame, now you're famous overnight
Famous for getting fucked by a stick of dynamite
You're weak nigga, you bout to die up in your sleep
The overlord of rap will never meet defeat
Pain and agony, I don't touch them zones
Fucking everlasting lyrical methods is my throne
Blast ya fifty pound ass and make you float
You read it shook nigga, I wrote the book, nigga
Held down my crown for a decade and a half
Now I'm bout to give your grimy ass a blood bath
Talk about bein broke, nigga I'm rich
Cause I learned, to seperated the money from the bitch
Don't hate me cause I'm paid, hate me because
I'm everything you want to be : handsome, young, plus legendary
Talk about Farrakhan, nigga you got to call Jesse Jackson
For some Affirmative Action

CANIBUS:
So I'ma let the world know the truth, you don't want me to shine
You studied my rhyme, then you laid your vocals after mine
That's a bitch move, somethin that a homo rapper would do
So when you say that you +Platinum+, you only droppin +Clue's+
I studied your background, read the book that you wrote
Researched your footnotes, bout how you used to sniff coke
Frontin like a drug-free role model, you disgust me
I know bitches that seen you smoke weed recently
You walk around showin off your body cause it sells
Plus to avoid the fact that you ain't got skills
Mad at me cause I kick that shit real niggaz feel
While 99% of your fans wear high heels
From Ice-T to Kool Moe Dee to Jay-Z
Now you wanna fuck with me? You must be crazy!
You drippin with wack juice, and you can't get it off
You betta be prepard to finish what you start, nigga

With lines like "The overlord of rap will never meet defeat"....LL made me just shake my head. What is he, a superhero? The Spiderman of rap music? Come on now.

Not to mention, Bis just gets more and more disgusting as the track goes on

Shit LL Cool J is far from being washed up he has a new hot album coming in September. LL is one of the pioneers that can still have a enormous fanbase and can drop platinum albums after 20 years.

LL never made a gansta track in his career so I don't understand why Jonez is up there calling him fake.

see thats what I don't understand how can he be the goat when I don't know any motherfucka on earth who likes his shit. All he can do is show muscles and lick his fat ass lips in ideos. I think he and a few others are responsible with what goes on, in the radio right now, that is : either RNB or some kinda RAP mixed with RNB that sound wack as fuck.
Of course the bitches will love that. I don't eat that bread.
