They booed Nelly at all the high schools he performed and venues...

They booed Pretty Willy Suella all the time until he was big.
(for the short month of his rap career)

They booed Da Hol 9 once before. Now they on they jock like it never happened.

WTF is wrong with them people. You gotta jump off a sky scraper and land on your neck in order to get the crowd to even react to you.

But I think I did see Nelly in that car on Training day. He made his acting bebut that day.. I guess they are going to say that he stared in the muthafucka...

Most others are simply following popular opinions given by managers who have limited insights on the industry (those are the punks). They follow a formula that worked for another artist or group, adopt it (or should I say 'clone it' and continue the trend. That's what spurs up the hundreds of people who look, sound and rap on the same subjects as the ca$h Money Milionaires and some other No limit Soldiers.
Yea, I got to Mizzou. Kareem went here, as ya'll already know, was drafted last year (to the Raptors, then traded to the Lakers on the same night). Basketball's coo. Last year, the team went to the Elite 8 (lost to Oklahoma). This year, we got some new good players, but I've only seen the team practice like twice so I can't really say if they'll be better or not. Think they can be tho.

It's true. They booed Nelly at local high schools and shows. Why? The reason hasnt changed today. The man hasnt done anything we havent seen before. They booed him cause he had less talent back then than he does today (still see no change). But as far as I know, Tech hasn't had the same tragedy at home on his debut as Nelly may have had (correct if I'm missin somehting). In KC, at the show I went to, Tech wasn't booed (and this was prior to Anghellic's release when he was still unrecognized to most). The ones there bumped to his music like they was possessed. Now, I didn't go to Nelly's shows before he dropped Country Grammar, but according t Mas, they weren't anything like tech, so I didn't miss anything. On the real, if this story is correct, then Nelly is a hypocrite for this simple reason. He was not really supported in his hometown by his people in his earlier days for the longest time, but then eventually his time came and so did he. Now his people love him like they loved him since way back when and he loves his people like he was never dissed on before he blew up and thanks them for their support. With that thought on hold, post-Country Grammar Nelly now has resorted to dissing anyone who has jumped on his bandwagon as well as anyone who is hating on him because he is "hot" and his foes are "not". You can see the falacy there; I don't even have to explain it. Nelly might of as well kicked mopst of his St. Louis people off his own bandwaggon simply because they weren't supporting him all the way. but no, he can't do that. He can't reverse his comments. Can't go against what he's already said because those people bring him sales and exposure. Bring him fame...money...etc..See my point? Myron D has been repeatedly slammed by Tech and no matter how far up Tech goes, Myron will always be trash to him. That is why he makes the distinction between his fellow supporters and then seperates the likes of Don, Juan, Myron, 103.3, the demons, biancas and anyone else he doesn't like. He represents KC, but will not loose his head and let the fame get to him like some rappers around him have. He knows who's been there through the whole thick or thin ride.

..and the ride aint over yet...just begun.

The rest had a damned CD-R next to the manuscript writing on it. That's sad dude. I'm through debating with that dude forreal. He's on some other shit too. Down here tho, man Lou cats I run into have this perception that it's always them over there, and us over here (KC). You talk about tech, they'll bring up The Lunatics (or they'll ask who Tech is...) You talk Chiefs, they flash their#28 Jerseys they bought last year when the Rams where still hot. You don't say nuthin and outta no where comes the Cards and the Blues.
I joke about it with some folks, but it's common perception. I'm not sterotyping STL people as being like this because I've met some real coo people from there, but others are just arrogant about anything.

I'm sure that MO isn't the only State that appears too small for two big cities who seem to be at odds with any things (including politics even). My guess is no. This probably happens in FLorida, CAL, or even Texas. So it's just a way of life. Ya can't change some things.
I agree that not supporting your local artists (being a slacker by burning the albums) is pretty low- especially if you end up meeting the celebrety at a certain signing, telling him/her how big a fan you are: your conscience may have issues then...

JLMACN sumed it up on the subject of Tech's music.
In addition, I suspect that it's a lame and weak response to anyone who has just listened to Tech after countless hours of anything from the Lunatics.It's clear to see who possesses the most skill, has the best lyrics, and better flow as well as best depth, originality and creativity. However, to some, it's harder to swallow the fact that such an artist is from the other side of MO. Even worse, some people here think that Tech is KC's answer to Nelly...well..I'll leave y'all with that thought (there aint much to think about). Wonder what St. Louis would be on today if Aaron yates came out of the Lou instead...
