Tha whole Droop/KVE situation
From what I've read, I think that was a BAD move on Droop's part. How you gonna come at your (former)label like that? They're the ones that put you on. Without KVE, you probably wouldn't have had the exposure that you do. Its understandable if you wanna venture out and do your own thangz, but at least give credit where credit is due---> KVE.
I'm sure there are still people that don't even know of you. I'm from Kansas City, Missouri(Northland) and I can almost guarantee you that no one up here has heard of you. Sure, I pass out flyers here and there when I have time, but its on the person, if they wanna buy your stuff or not. I can only do so much.
Besides that, I attend college full time and that takes up most of my time. I pass out flyers at school when I get the chance. I've given some music stores in my area some flyers. The Sam Goody up here didn't have any of your stuff. There's probably so many units they'd want to order at one time anyhow. Thanks to me, they have a copy of Bootlegz & Collectionz. Its probably still on the shelf. Its $15.99. I don't think anyone will be pickin' it up anytime soon, but at least its there.
If that was you that made those comments, do you think people gonna wanna buy your albums? Think about the impression you made after those comments. How do you think we, the fans and supporters are gonna feel? Not only us, but also KVE. What about other labels? Suppose someone wanted to work with you and just happened to read your comments?
If you didn't make those comments, disregard everything I just typed.
