I thuoght he was overrated until I saw the Mistah Fab Freestyle King dvd. He got serious spits. The part where he freestyled like Short and 40 is hilarios too, he rap just like both of em.

i AGREE TO A CERTAIN DEGREE, FAB AINT THE BEST BATTLE RAPPER, BUT HE CAN FRESTYLE HIS AS OFF. ON THE OTHER HAND HIS WRITTEN IS SUPER NICE, THAT "OAKLAND" TRACK FROM THE FIRST THIZZ MIXTAPE IS A PRIME EXAMPLE.

he overrated to me, only he song he ever did that i can actually listen to is "i don't know". not feelin his album "son of a pimp" at all matter fact same with his older releases or his "tonight show mixtape", he strickly appeals to the younger crowds.

Hes alright but i think hes boasting a little too much about being the best freestyler in the bay and shit cuz he ain't by a longshot, someone like Quinn, Yukmouth or Equipto would put it on FAB in a battle if you ask me. I do think hes a bit overrated cuz his voice is kinda annoying to me. That Ha Ha Ha Ha Hyphy song is fuckin annoying as hell, my sis and all her highschool friends bump that shit nonstop though so at least dude has appeal. Son Of a Pimp is a tight CD though, i dig most of his stuff he puts out. He might grow on me though, I didn't like Turf Talks voice at first but I find myself bumpin "The Street Novelist" alot

Why do people still care if somebody can battle or not? Battle rappers never make good albums and hardly ever make good songs in general, they're too one dimensional. When was the last time canibus or locksmith made a classic?

hes a youngsta in the game, hes all about that hyphy shit and it gets annoying after a while... i love how he talks about "no benzes" and then rolls up in one for his instores.. hes doing his thang and makin his money and i respect that but he definitly aint up there with alot of other bay cats that speak on that real shit
