The other side of the law was the only tight song on that shit... It had like 2 or 3 decent tracks but for the most part that shit sucked. I wasnt feeling it.

It's nothing against there content just the overall sound same thing with Menace Clan. I'm not feeling either of they're sounds....

I was into shit like 51.50, Lynch, Master P, Seagram, Spice 1, Pac, Rappin Ron, C-Bo, Bone, Celski, 11/5, Dre Dog, The Click etc... Back when then that came out I wasnt feeling anything else at the time really. I doubt I'd care for it now either.
I respect your opinion but 2 say The Other Side Of The Law waz no good but u were fucking with Master P iz insane. Face Mobs first album waz better then any No Limit release -ever.

now that's where you're wrong at. think about all the shit no limit had that was tight........WCBB 1&2 were slappin all the way through. TRU was tight. no limit had so many tight ass cd's that i'm not goin to get into that right now but just think what you just said.

To me the CD was a waste of good beats, never got into the rappers. They were way too mediocre style-wise. L.A. in 1995/6 had much better releases.
I agree tho that RAL has released a lot of so-so albums throughout the decades.

U gotta lot of nerve 2 tell me 2 think about what I said cuz your reply 2 my post seemed more rushed then those NL releases of the 90's. TRU waz str8 garbage homie. Silkk? C-Murder? P? Nigga come on now. Face Mobs debut waz way better then any NL album. A lot better then WCBB 1&2 az well.

RAL had some of the best product in the 90's

Geto Boys, DMG, Odd Sqaud, Face, Big Mike, CJ Mac, Ganksta NIP, Devin The Dude, Do Or Die & they even sighned Yuk @ the end of the 90's. J Prince really knew how 2 find talent. Not 2 mention the Producers they've had.

@sevenelevenloc- I bought the tape and my cd did NOT have that back cover LOL.... if it would have I could have put 2 + 2 and realized they were from LA.

I think I only listened to this album a couple times through and I couldn't get into it...

i'm with u on that shit. some of the really early NL releases (EA Ski & CMT) were ok, but the label went down the drain pretty damn fast...

^I don't think they meant they were from the street South right off of Central....lol

I think they just put south central on the street signs to rep where they were from. If you look at it; it looks computer generated.

haha that shit says south central homie

and yeah, i noticed because brick townhouse projects are ubiquitous in the south... from studying some urban decay from across the country, i can recall houston, new orleans, little rock, and atlanta having public housing that looks similar to the buildings in the background... but the projects in L.A. that i remember seeing are built similar to the way places like jordan downs is built... i don't think brick foundations are ideal for earthquake country

...i can recall houston,...
hmmm... that could even be possible since they did fuck with houston rap-a-lot artists like bushwick and were on ral themselves...
i also think the street signs were computer generated, but if the pic wasn't even taken in LA, i could understand people from LA not fucking with them. that really doesn't got with the lyrics to "da hood". :knockout:

they did make a video for the "da hood" song didn't they?
yea, they did that vid with bushwick.
