They dropped an album on Banc Roll/Rap-A-Lot back in 1995 that waz pretty tight & @ that time I waz back & fourth from I.E. to L.A. & I didn't hear anyone out there bumping they music but me. They had an album called Da Hood. One member waz from Hoova & the other waz from Main Street & they use 2 really give it up. One of'em iz a member of The Regime now. Lyrically they were just average but what grabbed me was the way they were very outspoken & had a not give a fuck attitude. One of the most politically incorrect albumz 2 come out since Streight Outta Compton

I always thought they were from Houston with them being on Rap-A-Lot. If I knew they were from LA I probably would have fucked with them...

Maaan!!!!!! that tape was the shit, and yeah I think the Rap A Lot affiliation threw alot of folks off. Cuz that shit is considered a classic in Texas for real. When that dropped you would hear that "Hood" track bangin on every other street in my neighborhood. Very gangsta and political at the same time.

"Even though I'm from Cali itz cold outside, when I step out the house itz like steppin in a freezer'

They were also featured on other Rap-A-Lot releases, but I was also always wonderin what happened to em and why they were never featured on any other albums...

^My homeboy liked that tape, I use to bump it every now and then but I thought that shit was weak. He was into all the texas shit back then he's the one who talked me into getting Face Mob and that shit sucked balls. Only had two good songs on it.

He's the one that waz locked up.

I wasn't really feeling the CD @ first either but if u really sit down & give it a good listen you'll see how serious the content of the music waz. "Fuck A Record Deal, Last Driveby, Its Cold" were hella tight. The song "Da Hood" waz the shit & I loved there second single & video "Fuck What You Say". That song waz very political & the video waz very creative.

I think the RAL affiliation thru Cali headz off track, the way they were spittin racist lyrics @ white people & if u listen close enough it sounded like they were dissing other niggaz hoodz. Them dudez didn't bite their tounges 4 shit.

FaceMob suck ballz? Nigga u must suck ballz cuz if your referring 2 the first CD "The Other Side Of the Law" nigga that waz streight masterpeice. "Da Coldest, Bank Robbery, Tales From The Hood & In The Flesh"(just 2 name a few songz) were the shit. Homie u are seriously trippin. I can understand if u didn't like the Menace Clan CD cuz there music wasn't 4 everyone but Face Mobs first shit smoked any CD that came out in 1996. I feel sorry 4 u. Anybody that heard that CD gotta agree with me on thiz one.

The other side of the law was the only tight song on that shit... It had like 2 or 3 decent tracks but for the most part that shit sucked. I wasnt feeling it.

It's nothing against there content just the overall sound same thing with Menace Clan. I'm not feeling either of they're sounds....

I was into shit like 51.50, Lynch, Master P, Seagram, Spice 1, Pac, Rappin Ron, C-Bo, Bone, Celski, 11/5, Dre Dog, The Click etc... Back when then that came out I wasnt feeling anything else at the time really. I doubt I'd care for it now either.

i got the album a few years later than it dropped but i was only hooked cause of da hood track and thought rest would be just as tight...........i was wrong. Evil is right, they really didn't give a fuck what they said in the songs. the production is what really lacked, if you're gonna be spewing so-so lyrics at least come with tight beats. lotta RAL releases i felt were like that throughout its entire history.
