WHY DID THE RAP GAME SKIP DAGO

Ive always wonderd when the west was ruling the rap game from L.A. to the Bay, Dago never really got a chance to shine. We getting some shine now but damn we shoulda blew up wit the rest of the Left Coast. I think maybe it had to do with some rap politics. Speak on it

A big reason is that there isn't that much rap industry markets outta dago
U go to an L.A. and there's all kind of offices for major labels u go to the bay and the major independant labels are there.

Shit one of the main reasons daygo has been left out is because of the Black Panthers startin in Oakland in tha bay and Oakland was the murder capital 4 a while and the riots poppin of in LA and LA was also the murder capital 4 a while too. Rap(gangsta rap/hiphop) in a particular city will and can get more publicity due to what going on in that particular region. Now as you can see Daygo is startin to blow up because LA fell off(not to been rude but it did) and westcoast fans either started listenin to that crunk bullshit or to other surroundin cities such as daygo(because of the Snoop situation at the "Puff Puff Pass" tour) and san bernadino(due to the fact that san bernadino passed oakland and compton up on 2003 and 2004 murder ranks). real talk

Uh oh, has the 'everyone is hatin' on us' illness plaguing the bay rubbed off on you cats down in Daygo?

The answer is simple and it's already been said. Your area is not a major market. Period.

To put things in better perspective for you, the music industry isn't going to come to your city looking for you just like hollywood doesn't go anywhere looking for anyone. If you want to be the next Snoop Dogg, move to Los Angeles, Atlanta or New York and cross your fingers really REALLY tight. If you ever make it big, you can rep Daygo all day in your interviews, videos, etc... But still don't expect the music industry to come running down there.
